Your P.O.V

I took a deep breath and partially closed one eye as I carefully aimed my bow at the target. The arrow flew towards the target and hit its mark in the dead center. Smirking, I reached back to grab another arrow from my quiver when I heard a voice call my name.
" My lady y/n , your father Lord Elrond would like to see you. " Lindir says, bowing gracefully.
You sigh and reply
" I will be right there. "
Gathering your arrows and returning them to the quiver, you walk to where you know your father will be, on a large platformed balcony in the center of Rivendell. What you weren't expecting to see was the people stood beside your father, King Thranduil and Prince Legolas of Mirkwood.
" My lords. " you curtesy slightly to them and they nod their heads in polite acknowledgement. Legolas' sky blue eyes meet yours for a second and he looks away, twiddling his fingers.
" You called father? " you address Elrond.
" Ah yes y/n, where were you this time? " he questions.
" I was practising my archery Ada ( elvish for dad / father ) "
" I should have guessed " he chuckles. " y/n, a pack of orcs are dangerously close to our borders, I want you to take the guard and rid of them ." Elrond sighs. Your father had made you captain of the guard many years ago and you had certainly lived up to the name.
" Of course Ada, right away. " you nod at a guard, telling him to unclasp a small horn from his belt and blow it, signalling the Royal guard to mount their horses and prepare their weapons. You gracefully run over to the stables, mounting your snow-White horse. Once the soldiers are all on horseback you shout
" Alright follow me everyone! " and lead them all towards the plains of Rivendell. You briefly stop and bow your head respectfully at your father. You notice the young prince of Mirkwood looking at you in awe and smile back at him. He almost looks as though he was blushing... was he?? No, he wouldn't be.

" Be safe my child. " Elrond tells you.
" I will Ada. " you smirk, before shouting a sharp " HUP! " to bring your horse to a gallop. You speed off towards the plains, arrow nocked, the guard behind you.
Turning your head slightly to look back, you notice Legolas watching you race off into the distance. Suddenly, your face heats up and you realise you are blushing. Shaking away the feeling, you speed your horse up and continue to ride towards the location of the orcs.
