Second exam

I'm going to skip most of the second exam but I will include he juicy parts!

The gates flew open and the teams were off. The race to the tower had begun. Team 7 had entered and been faced with a problem already.

"Guys? I uh well I gotta go." Naruto pleaded for Mizu to stop. She sighed and stopped on branch. "Hurry up." he quickly ran into some bushes. A few minutes later he came out boasting. Mizu narrowed her eyes. 'Something's off. That's not the right leg for his holster. The chakra nature is different.' she thought then glanced at Sasuke he looked at her knowingly. They attacked the imposter and Naruto showed up and they scared the ninja off. They traveled in silence until a bigger problem hit them.

A woman from the sound village attacked them. Naruto stopped a attack from hitting Sasuke. The identity of attacker was soon found out as Orochimaru. They continued to fight until Mizu took over the situation.

"SAKURA! Get Naruto and Sasuke out of here now I'll hold him off and meet up with you!" she was now in hand to hand combat with him. "No! I can't leave you!" Sakura refused. "DAMMIT JUST GO!" the tone in her voice was serious and Sakura just nodded and retrieved the boys then left.

She jumped back. "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" she yelled. Orochimaru shot out a water jutsu to cancel out her fire. Her eyes flashed shades of red and orange when she sent her jutsu. Orochimaru was going to use another water jutsu. Her eyes changed to shades of green and brown. "Earth Style: Mud Wall!" her eyes went back to the normal shades of green and blue. They entered hand to hand combat.

"Your good princess." his voice was that of a snake. "Don't call me that. I haven't been a princess since my clan was killed!" he laughed. "That's right and that's why you wish for revenge. I can give you that power." he offered. "No! I will not use you as my window and especially after what you did to Anko sensei!" she snarled. He frowned. "Ah yes Anko. Well if you will not accept it then that Uchiha boy will do well." her blood came to a boil when he mentioned Sasuke. "I won't let you!" she growled but he landed a kick to her side sending her through at least five trees. "But it's already been done my dear he has the mark and will seek me for power." She coughed up blood and stood to fight but he was gone. "No! Sasuke." She whispered his name. She collapsed to her knees. "I'm sorry." she whispered before falling forward and darkness took over.

Sakura sat next to the two boys worried. She kept glancing in the direction of the battle and she felt Orochimaru's chakra disappear and Mizu's slowly fade until She could no longer sense it at least not with her level of skill. "No Mizu." she whispered as tears fell from her eyes.

Sound ninja were attacking Sakura when Sasuke woke up and protected her. Once they were gone and Naruto was awake Sasuke realized something. "Sakura, where's Mizu?" he looked down at the pink haired girl. Her brows furrowed as she closed her eyes. "Sh-She's gone." she choked out. His eyes widened. Then ran off in her direction with Naruto and Sakura in tow.

They came to a area where all the trees were destroyed and scorched. A long row of trees had been taken out. Sasuke ran over there seeing a body on the ground. he dropped down next to it and slowly turned it over to see it was Mizu. Her breathing was low but she was alive. She slowly opened her eyes. She lifted her hand onto his curse mark. "I'm sorry S-Sasuke. I couldn't stop... Him." she said weakly. She sat up and started to heal herself. She had been passed out for a day it two so her chakra was at 100%.

"Wee need to hurry we still need another scroll. And the test is almost up." she stood regardless of the others protests. They pushed on. And one day Kabuto came to "help" them. They agreed and went on with his plan. They were attacked by the same ninja from before but he had his team now. They got the scroll they needed and finished the test by reaching the tower just in time.
