"I hope I'm not I intruding."

A man covered in bandages with black hair came in.

Tsunade stood. "Danzo, what are you doing here?" She growled out.

The man named Danzo opened his eye slightly. "Is there a problem with me visiting my injuring niece?" The Hokage was taken aback. "Niece?" she asked utterly shocked. "Yes Mizu o is my niece."

Mizu sat up with a groan and winced in pain. "Do not call me Mizu o." her voice dripped in venom. "And you may be my uncle but you are not my blood." She breathed heavy from the strain. The man glared at her. "I can see you will need your rest. I will go now." he turned and hobbled out of the room and closed the door behind him.

Mizu coughed and covered her mouth. "Please lay down." she complied and laid back. "Tell me, how are you related to the man?" she said sitting back down in the chair.

"Sadly enough my aunt thought he was a good man. She married him. So now he does his best to control my every move." She sighed and closed her eyes.

Tsunade sighed as well. "You need your rest. I'll be back later to check your progress." she stood and left.

For three days Mizu was not aloud the luxury of visitors. After her three days she was aloud out of her room but walking was hard for her so she had to use crutches. Tsunade told her to leave her room to walk around every once in a while. Mizu was hobbling down the hall when she heard a familiar loud knuckle head running behind her.

"Mizu!" he ran up to her and knocked her down.

"Gah!" she gasped in pain as she hit the floor. "Fucking-A! Naruto that hurt like hell!" she scolded the blonde ninja on the floor behind her. She slowly sat up. She grabbed a crutch and tried to haul herself up. She fell again as Naruto watched her with sad eyes. He offered her a hand and hesitantly she took it. She thanked him quickly and she crutched away down the hall.

She walked farther and then turned around to go back to her room where she found Tsunade waiting for her.

"You've made incredible progress and you can leave today all you have to do is sign out." She saw holding a chart. Mizu was silent looking down at the sheets that covered her legs. Quietly she spoke. "Thank you."

Tsunade frowned noticing her shyness. She left it and exited the room.Mizu got up from the bed and grabbed her clothes. After changing she took her crutches and slowly walked out. She signed out and walked home. Walking through the village she felt the stares of her friends. Her solemn face was showing sadness for the first time in years. Her lifeless eyes stayed fixed on the ground.

A man bumped into her and she looked up. "Watch where you're going." she growled out. He faced her. "What did you s-" he caught sight of the clan symbol on her arm and he backed away. "S-Sorry I wasn't looking." He turned and ran. She faced down again and continued on. Shikamaru was at the barbecue with Ino an Choji and Asuma when he saw Mizu. He threw some money on the table and said bye before running after Mizu.

He walked beside her not talking. He knew that he wouldn't. Kiba saw them walking and joined on her other side. In silence they walked her home. she went in with them following. She went up to her room stumbling on the way a few times where Kiba caught her. She didn't speak and continued up the stairs to her room. She sat on the bed. Kiba plopped down beside her while Shikamaru grabbed the chair from her desk and pulled it up next to the bed. "Mizu, what's wrong? You're not the type of person to be shy and quite." asked Shikamaru leaning forward.

She was silent and when she spoke Kiba and Shikamaru were at a loss for words.

I am but a broken doll,

Left on a shelf to be forgotten,

And never once remembered.

Kiba was the first one to move. He moved over and wrapped his arms around her.She didn't move to hug him back. She sat still. Kiba gave up and stood leaving. Shikamaru studied her for a little while longer before standing and leaving.

One thought came to her mind. "Sasuke"she said wondering how he was doing. She got up on her crutches and left. She made her way to his house and knocked on his door. There was no answer. She walked in leaving her crutches at the door and limped to his room.She peeked in and saw him packing a travel bag. Her heart stopped. 'It's he really going to Orochimaru?' she thought.

She opened the door and leaned against the frame. "I guess you've made up your mind." She sighed the hurt evident in her voice. His back and shoulders stiffened. "yes"he said flatly and then went back to packing. She frowned and turned back limping down the hall. Once Sasuke heard the door close indicating that she'd left he clenched his fist and punched the wall.

Mizu felt depression start to set in and she went to the river where she met Itachi knowing he wouldn't be there. And if he was she would kill him for what he did to Sasuke and her. She got up and made her way through the woods again. Half way through the woods she tripped because her crutches hit a root. She fell forward and at first she didn't move and then she balled her fists and sat up and punched the ground. Tears started to fall as she stood up with the support of a tree. She reached for a crutch and stopped half way. Then she grabbed it and threw it through the trees along with the other one. Tears streamed down her face as she flushed with anger.

She put her hands on the tree I front of her and fell to her knees. Mizu clenched he fists and brought them to her sides while looking down. Lifting her head she screamed in anger.

"ITACHI! YOU BASTARD!"

She put her head back down and breathed heavy as her heart sped up. She sobbed uncontrollably. She had no idea he watched her from the distance as a pang of guilt and sadness hit his heart. He turned away and ran back to the base not bearing to watch her emotional breakdown.

She cried and when it was dark she stood with confidence as she structure back into town and to the only road that left the village.

She waited for hours in a tree masking her chakra until finally she saw him walking up the path. Sakura appeared behind him begging him to stay and that she loved him. And it didn't work.

"Sasuke please!" she cried. "What about Mizu? I know you love her. I've seen you with her. I've seen you smile with her." she whispered the last part.

He turned around. "I have no feelings for her. The only reason I sought her out was for power. I only acted accordingly." his words stung Mizu and shocked Sakura. Mizu felt a strange feeling a need for something...

Blood

She heard the voice again.

"I could have predicted this. Nobody will love you. First the elder Uchiha said he loved you and look what he did. He destroyed you. He broke you. And now the young one lied to you. No one will every want scum like you. You're the reason your clan was killed."

Mizu listened to its words. Starting to believe them. She jumped from the tree so she was next to Sakura facing away from Sasuke with her hand on her shoulder.

"Let him go Sakura. Nothing you can say will change his mind." She walked away and with in a poof of smoke she was gone.

So I just wanted all of my readers to know that this book will be ending in he next few chapters but I will start on a shippuden sequel to where they are now 16 so I'll have it posted a few days after this ends
