From loved to hated

Mizu sat at the river for hours and it was just past noon. Itachi continued to watch her from the trees. He wanted to go to her and to hold her while she cried. He had been ordered to keep away from Mizu and if he didn't he would be punished along with a terrible fate for her. He stayed away but her became angered when he saw someone coming.

Sasuke had been searching for Mizu since she left. He slowly walked up to her and dropped to his knees beside her. Instantly she twisted and hugged him. She cried into his chest as he sat there and held her. Itachi felt jealousy toward his pathetic brother. He did not recognize the foreign feeling. His face as usual stayed stoic and emotionless but his hands clenched into fists. He did not stay to watch the scene any further. He was to attached to her. He needed away to feel unneeded. 'I need Mizu to hate me' he thought while traveling through the trees.

Sasuke did not speak and did not move. He only rubbed Mizu's back while she sobbed uncontrollably into his chest. Minutes later her tears dried up and she looked up at Sasuke. Quietly she mumbled "Thank you Sasuke." once he looked down he was met with the feel of her soft lips on his.

The next day Mizu woke up much later than usual. In fact it was passed noon. She quickly got up and dressed skipping a shower. She ran to the training grounds fast. She was shocked to find it empty. She decided to go ask Kakashi if they were canceled.

As soon as Mizu reached the door of his apartment Sasuke bust through the door knocking over Mizu and not caring. She wondered what was wrong so she ventured into Kakashi's home. She heard people talking on the Inside and listened in.

"I'm amazed that you're still alive."

"It is amazing. You battled against Itachi Uchiha and you're alive"

"Thanks guys but we have more pressing matters at hand"

"You're right. We need to protect Naruto. Now that the Akatsuki have made contact there's no telling what will happen."

"He should be fine since he's traveling with Lord Jiriayah. But we can't be sure."

Mizu's eyes widened and she realized that Sasuke went after Itachi. She swung open the door startling the people on the room. She saw Kakashi was in his bed injured. Anger boiled in her. She ran and ran fast to try and find Sasuke, Naruto and Itachi.

Mizu was running through a town when she heard the familiar chirping of birds She stopped. "Chidori." she said then running to the noise.

She slid to stop in front of inn. She ran in and up the stairs and the sight she saw made her heart stop. Anger took over and her darker side came out.

Itachi held Sasuke to a wall. Sasuke was screaming in agony.

"Itachi!" She growled out in a heart wrenching voice. Her eyes were dilated and a red darker than blood took them over. With unimaginable speed she ran at him with a low grow emanating from her throat. He blocked punch after punch until Kisame stepped in and sent her flying at a wall. Her body formed a crater shaped to her form, her head hung and when she lifted it Itachi held her throat. She looked up still holding a manacle face, she met his eyes.

The Mangekyou Sharingan was activated.

Being in the state she was Mizu had no time to prepare for his Tsukiyomi.

He sent Mizu through all seven levels of hell.

Slowly Mizu opened her eyes to the light. There was a hand on her head. She saw a woman with blonde hair and hazel nut eyes standing over her breathing heavy. "W-what happened?" She breathed out when the woman removed her hand. She sat down on a chair next to her bed. "I'm glad that you've finally awoke." Mizu stared at the ceiling and then looked at the woman out of the corner of her eye. "You are?" she asked

"I'm the new Hokage. Tsunade Senju." the woman Tsunade said. Mizu frowned at the word Hokage. "How long have I been out?" she asked in a raspy voice.

"I've been working on you for a week now. And your still barely pulling through." she said putting a hand to her forehead and closing her eyes.

Mizu narrowed her eyes at the ceiling. "Tsunade..." she said more to herself. The Hokage looked at her curiously. "Hmm it's familiar..." she stared intently at the ceiling before raising her eyebrows. "Princess Tsunade." Mizu said lowly. Tsunade's eyes narrowed. "Only one man has ever called me that." she growled.

Then there was a knock in the door.

"I hope I'm not intruding." a raspy voice said as a man walked in the room.
