The red curtain rose up as the opera soon began. "Alright everyone. 1, 2, 3!" The music man said. The music started and a queen entered onto the stage. "Why hello ya'll! Welcome to my castle! And oh! Is that my father coming in with my doggy?" Catalina asked, in a British accent. Everyone laughed as a short, round, man came onto the stage with a stuffed dog in his arms. "Daughter, you can't have anymore puppies! That is the last one!" The man yelled, throwing the animal onto the floor. It made a squeaking noise and it bounced off the stage floor. It smacked Catalina in the face. "Moo!" She exclaimed, and everyone laughed. Catalina laughed along too and then, bowed. Her dress started to rip and she heard. "Oops! I forgot to wear a jumpsuit underneath! But, I guess those aren't invented until 2001." Catalina said. The audience cracked up by her joke and another man came onto the stage with a pot of water. He fake tripped and the water spilled onto the stage floor. Catalina walked toward the stage and slipped on the water. She looked up and started laughing. The crowd cracked up and laughed at her. But, the final act wasn't until he showed up. Natalie, dressed all up in a white nightgown, came onto the stage being all sleepy. A bed was rolled onto the stage and she laid there while, it was rolled away to be eaten by a giant paper-macahe dragon. It gobbled her up and she didn't know. Meanwhile, backstage, Catalina was reading her lines. Then, there were footsteps. A bottle smashing sound was heard and frighten the cast. They ran to see who it was and got a big surprise. A body was lying on the floor and it was Catalina crying out in pain. "Someone get the doctor!" A cast member cried. They helped her up and Natalie stood there, shocked by what had happened.
Then, the music came back on. The 2 managers came running up to the stage to stop the performance. "Um, excuse us, but, we have some bad news. The lead role has been injured, so, the role will go to Miss Winters." The co-manager said. Natalie came out from behind the curtain and the audience clapped and cheered to once again hear the angel sing once more. "So, now, we'll begin with Act 3." The manager said. "What?! No!" The music man cried out. The co-manager rolled his eyes. "That's all! Enjoy the show!" The manager said.
"Okay boys. Start up again." The music man said. The music soon began and everyone watched as the dancers leapt across the stage in their pink fluffy tutus. The audience yawned at this death trap. But, many wanted to hear the angel speak. The music was very girlish and many boys wanted to puke. Meanwhile, Madame Rose was writing the lines for the cast. Natalie came over. "Madame Rose, I have a question." She said. The woman looked at her. "Whatever is it child?" She asked. "Well, when, you said that 'the walls' speak, what exactly do you mean?" She asked. "Oh, if only I could explain it the easy way, um, have you experienced it yet?" She asked. "Well, no. But, my mirror had a strange man in it." Natalie said. "A strange man, you say?" Madame Rose asked. "And I saw his face. I just don't know how to describe it. But, it's filled with sadness and madness." Natalie said. Madame Rose's face grew pale with fear.  "Madame Rose? Are you okay? What happened?" Natalie asked. Madame Rose snapped outta her creepy stare. "It's nothing. But, I have to say, you should probably stay clear of his anger." Madame Rose warned. "Why?" Natalie asked. "Well, it sometimes gets really ugly and he can start to kill." The woman whispered, softly. Suddenly, there was a loud pitched scream from the stage. Madame Rose and Natalie ran onto the stage and saw a body hanging from the ceiling. Dancers scattered and 2 cast members ran onto the stage. One cut the body down from the ceiling, while, the other one dragged the body away. The audience had seen the whole death scene. After that, the opera closed for the night, not letting anyone see the angel sing. The police arrived and looked at the dead body. They couldn't figure out what really happened to the guy. But, one thing they did find was a small letter that was stuffed into the pocket. Dear everyone at the Opera House, I have heard of your plans to get rid of Miss Winters and I am not happy at all! I demand that next month's opera shall have her singing or else something bad will happen to Miss Riches. I am the boss here now! Listen to my orders and I'll listen to yours.
-The Phantom.
The managers immediately became terrified. "This is getting out of control! I demand that we take this Opera House back from him!" The co-manager yelled. "No, we need to be friends with him!" The manager yelled. "You know what? I'm outta here!" The co-manager yelled. He turned around and started toward the door. "Hey! Wait for me! I'll listen to you!" The manager yelled. Natalie and Madame Rose looked at each other. "Look, I know he ruined our first Opera together, but, we need to be friends with him! Bad things will happen if we don't be his friends!" The manager yelled. "He is trying to control us! With his stupid letters! I want us to work without any more problems tonight! Got it?!" The co-manager screamed. The manager nodded and decided to join his side. But, I knew that it was only increasing his rage even more. But, what is he gonna do to them? Who knows! But, he won't try and hurt Madame Rose, or his angel. But, I know what Hans is. I know his sercet.
He has one. A dark one.
