A New Life

~Chapter Twenty~

(Sarah POV)

Sophia was gone.... I couldn't breathe. We left her alone for a day, what could have happened. Now we are back in New Orleans. Today is her funeral, I felt dead. It doesn't feel like she is gone but I know she is deep down.

I went from having a great time in Mystic Falls back to mourning.

" Sarah it's time to go." Kol said while kissing my head

" I really love you Kol." I whispered while my head was on his shoulder

" I love you to, now let's go." He said lovingly while leading me out of the house

Kol was mourning in his own way, he didn't really know Sophia like I did. When we got there, there were people everywhere. Most of the people I have never seen. We all sit in our seats.

I man that's looks about my age walks up to the stand, to say some words.

" Hello everyone, I'm Hayden. Sophia shouldn't have died, it wasn't her time and she wasn't ready. She was so young and went through many stuff in her life. She was the best sister you could ever have, she understood every one. I will get revenge for whoever killed my sister. I also will find who ever caused this and made her live a bad life." He said while looking at me with a glare

I couldn't do this, I got up out of my seat and walked away. I walked to Hannah, she looked sad and confused.

" Hey you okay?" I asked her sadly

" Why would I be okay, my best friend is dead because of you." She snapped angrily

" I didn't plan for her to die it just happened! It isn't my fault!" I cried

" I hope you get what you deserve." She spat and walked away angrily

I needed to go home, I ran home. Once I got there, somethings smelt weird. I saw a flight of stairs that I never have seen. I walked down the stairs and it led to a room full of bricks then I saw a door.

I walked up to the door, I opened it and inside was Derek.

Derek was healed but he looked like he was in pain. His head was on the side when it slowly went up. When I saw his face, it terrifies me, he had bright yellow eyes with veins going down his face.

" Sarah let me go now!" He muttered angrily

" Why would I do that?" I snapped

" You would do as I say because I know who killed my sister." He ground out of his teeth

" Who, was it you?" I answer harshly

" No I have been in here for a while. I will tell you if you let me out." He smirked

I didn't know what I was thinking but I undid the ropes. The look Derek had on his face before was now back. He walked towards me towering over me. He grabbed me by the hair and pulled my head down. I felt his teeth graze my neck than they pierced my skin.

It was the most painful thing I have ever felt. I kept screaming and he kept drinking my blood. My screams started to die down because I felt my energy get drained from my system. Then suddenly Derek was pushed off me. The person snapped his neck.

(one hour later)

I must have passed out because now I was in a completely different room. I look up and there was a girl sitting on the couch. She had blond hair and piercing blue eyes.

" Who are you?" I ask curiously

" Well I'm Emilia it nice to meet you, but you can call me Emily." She said politely

" Thanks for saving me really, I don't know what I would have done." I thanked her

" It knows problem, that man is Hella annoying I heard him moaning and groaning all day." She gushed while laughing

" Well why are you here and what are you?" I asked cations

" Well I am here to help you actually, and I'm a vampire. Elijah called me here, so I grabbed some stuff and left England." She explained

" Well thanks again." I thanked her again then started walking to my room when I heard giggling from the guest room.

I opened the door and saw a little girl she had was so cute. I wondered who she was.

" Who are you little one?" I whispered

" my mommy's daughter." She squeaked

" Hey, I see you meant Dakota." Emily said from behind me

" Where did she come from?" I asked while braiding Dakotas hair

" Well a man came up to me and said he couldn't raise her because he had three other children he can barely look after." Emily whispered

So, she kind of has a daughter even though she is a thousand years old...
