CHAPTER 4: Molly

Prince Edvard:

I finally came face to face with the person I'm going to marry but it was just awkward that I had to bumped in to her in the middle of the road of Denmark. People stared at me alarmed of what they just saw a while ago. I was so dumb for letting that girl hit me in public and it got me frustrated knowing that the media will tell different stories on the tabloids the next day. Why on earth I went out of the car and stood in front of her? I knew I was in another trouble.

I smiled at the people, waved at them and went back to my car. of course I didn't show them I was mad..I have to accept the fact that I am a public figure since I was born and everything in me is theirs. I'm tired of my life, I'm tired of being the center of attraction and being the talk of the town..my life is making me insane and I hated it, every inch of it!

As I am driving back to the palace, pictures of that girl went flashing in my mind. She was brunette and she was so lovely on her white lace dress, her blue eyes was very tantalizing and her porcelain skin looks so smooth that every man wouldn't resist of touching it. Her face was very angelic and it compliments her dress. Her eyelashes were long, her eyebrows were dark and perfect and her lips were pink and they look so soft. And then I smiled at the thought of her not even recognizing her own fiancé. I suddenly liked the fact that she doesn't know about me and would take a plot of scaring that girl with her own disbelief once she discovered about the arranged marriage.

I arrived at the palace, saw Molly's shocking expression outside my father's office..well it was Mr.Bernhard Moller I am just fond of calling him Molly since I was a kid and he never mind about it.

"Molly! what's with that expression?" I asked. "It's like you saw someone horrible!" my face went straight.

"Ahemmmmm...Nothing Your Highness." he nervously answered.

"What's going on? Are you okay?"

"Yes of course Prince Edvard..I am just waiting for the King to finish his meeting."

"Good. Is he inside with a lot of people?" I curiously asked.

"No..just talking to someone important."

"And who is that so important person that you had to go out of his office and wait here?" He didn't answer back. He just smiled at me.

I know in that moment, Molly was keeping things from me. I didn't want to butt in so I just left the situation hanging there. I went to my room, rest for a while and took a quick shower and then went back to my father's office. I saw Molly still standing outside the door and it was the first time seeing him in that kind of situation, waiting outside my father's office for 1 hour.

"Molly, what's going on? Seriously?"

And then I remembered a black limousine with the Royal Family's logo moving around the city while I was outside driving. I know it was Molly because he was the only one allowed to use the palace's limo. Why he was roaming the city? Why did I also bumped in to the limo while I was outside before accidentally seeing that girl? Then I got the picture after connecting things.

"You saw what happened earlier?"

"Your Highness?" he pretentiously answered me back with a question.

"Molly, you know what I mean..you saw what happened to me with that girl earlier and you were there not because of me. It was because my father ordered you to follow that girl and bring her here...Am I right? That girl is inside talking to the King? And she is that so important person you were referring to?" he did not answer back and I took it as a yes.

Molly knows the whole situation.

He was my grandfather's right hand before serving the reining King. He knows about the arranged marriage and how I disapproved about it.

"Well, I am not surprised! You really do know where to find her" he lowered his face with due respect and I smiled at him..my smile tells him it was okay and I am not mad. I know he was just doing his job.

I stepped forward and opened the door. They were all shocked with my sudden action. Molly, the royal guards, my father and....that girl. I saw the King stood up, wiping his tears and also that girl.. she was wiping her tears while having a surprised expression on her face. What could possibly made them cry? Could it be the girl refused to marry me that is why the King was crying? Or their tears were out of happiness that she accepted my family's proposal to marry me?
