Jayy's POV

....I'm still here for you. But I can't be if I'm unwanted. Please, please just tell me something. I need to know whether to wait for you or not.

Forever yours,

Skye

I dropped my phone and ran, locking the door behind me. I kept going until i reached her house, not caring that my legs were screaming for me to stop. The rain was soaking me from head to toe. I knocked on the door, not even sure that anyone would answer. I waited impatiently for at least three minutes. I couldn't wait! I tried the doorknob, but of course, it was locked. Damn it!

"Skye!?" I shouted. "Skye, please! I'm sorry!! I need you!" I cried. But it was silent. Maybe she wasn't home. I sat on the porch and pulled my hood up. I began to hum, trying to pass the time, tears still streaming down my face.

Skye's POV

I waited for a reply that didn't come. Fuck this! I threw as much of my clothes as I could into a couple bags, being sure to grab my essentials as well (makeup, phone, straightener, toothbrush, etc.). I grabbed my umbrella on the way out and locked the door behind me. I had $235 on me from my life savings. I walked to the bus stop, not caring where it took me. I just couldn't take this anymore!

The bus ride seemed never ending. I looked at my phone. Twelve missed calls and fourteen texts, all from my parents. I put my phone back in my pocket, not wanting to think about the boy who no longer cared.

Jayy's POV

It was starting to get dark and I was freezing from the rain that began pouring harder. I didn't even know what time it was.

I saw a car pull into the drive and I hopped up on my feet. I could finally apologize to Skye! Tell her that I love her! That I never wanted to be without her again! I saw two figures run up to the porch and there was no Skye, only her parents.

"Jayy? What are you doing here? Have you heard from Skye?" her mother questioned, pulling me into the house.

"No I've been waiting here for quite some time. I was waiting for her to get home. I needed to apologize to her in person." I sobbed. "I'm such a fool!" She grabbed a towel from the closet, holding it out for me.

"Go upstairs and change before you catch cold. I know you can fit into my daughter's clothing."

I simply nodded, taking the towel. I hugged her, thanking her, before I ran up the stairs. I searched Skye's closet for a pair of pants. It was practically empty! I quickly grabbed the black skinnies, changing into them and grabbing a random shirt from her practically-empty drawer. I knew this wasn't good. I was about to run down the stairs when some broken glass caught my eye. I picked up the face-down frame from next to the night stand and examined it. It was a photo we had taken after she got out of the hospital. I laid the photo on the bed and ran down the stairs.

"She's gone" I sighed. "There's hardly any clothes left."

"She won't answer her phone."

"Can you take me to my house so I can get my cell? I think she'll answer if she knows that it's me."

"Alright let's go!"

I really hope we aren't too late...
