A/N sorry for the time skip, some of you may not like me skipping the prom chapter but later on ill add it in as a flashback later in the story. It'll be cute. Sorry my plot line is everywhere also. Ill get this figure out I promise.

A year later....

It's been a year after highschool graduation for the two males. Dave was currently a freshmen in College living in a dorm and getting a business degree.

As for John, he was staying home taking care of his Grandma, he didn't know what to do with his life, he was hitting rock bottom again.

His father has completely blocked him from his life, and Dave was busy with school he didn't want to bother the blonde. And his grandma is on bed rest by doctors order, he has to help her do most of her everyday activities. Which wasn't much at her elderly age.

John just finished helping his grandmother into bed for the night before walking up to his same childish but grey room. Oh how he craved for a new change other then a worthless piece of paper.

He plopped down on his bed and looked over at his phone, picking it up and looking for anything but as usual his social life was dead. He didn't really talk to anyone but Dave and his group of friends.

Speaking of Dave, they are official. Everyone at school were shocked at Dave's announcement he had to make at lunch.

"Listen up everyone!" being the cool kid everyone knew, everyone looked with undivided attention, except John. Who was smiling like an idiot and hiding his face in his hands.

That's when Dave yelled it to the world, making sure everyone knew John Egbert was his and his only. Which actually ended John's bullying.

John sighed deeply and rolled onto his side, scrolling through his contacts until he reached "Davey<3" he tapped the name and their text messages displayed across the screen.

They were cute and innocent, sometimes Dave would get.. Dirty and make John completely flustered but their relationship was pure.

John was about to turn off his phone after reading through their text before receiving one from Dave.

"Hey baby <3"

John grinned and sat up, giving his phone all his attention.

"Hey Dave, how was school?" J

"Lame. I need my cuddle buddy :("

John couldn't help but giggle before getting a double text

"Ill be there in ten"

John didn't have to reply. He hopped up and got some pants on, this was routine. Sneaking out to go be with Dave whenever he was available. Plus he can't say no to Dave.

He watched out his window eagerly, it's been two months sense he last saw Dave. He was just that busy.

When he saw Dave's red truck he quickly hopped downstairs on his toes, trying to be quiet and not wake up his Grandma.

He stepped out the door and slowly closed it behind him, locking the door before running to Dave, who was already leaning against his hood waiting for John.
