John's POV
Dear Diary,
Today was prefect at the carnival with Dave. He was sweet as ever and paid for everything! Which I kinda felt bad for. But he insisted and we had a great time.
When we first got there he paid for tickets and a pretzel for the two of us to start the day off. It was yummy with cheese!
Once we started playing games it was challenging but fun, Dave is really good and competitive but I won some rounds of basket ball shoots, darts, bean sacks, rings around the bottle and a bunch of other games.
Normally we just won snacks and show tickets to see the performer's but Dave saw this one expensive game that gave away stuffed animals as prizes and he was so determined! It was adorable.
He actually ended up winning a good sized teddy bear after a few round's and he gave it to me as a gift! My heart melted on the spot I never had a friend like him before.
We continued our day by going on rides like the roller coasters, the drop, the swings and etc. But before we left as the sun started to set we went on the ferris wheel.
