Mistakes - Treegan

'His voice.'

(Lucy's POV)
"We're gonna have a baby Keegan." I say avoiding eye contact.
"I'm sorry..." I bit my lip to stop any more tears but I fail and start crying again.
"What?..." He says with no emotion in his voice.
"You heard me. There's another baby." I declare.
"I'm sorry Lucy, but... I.. I can't do this.." He quickly stands up and runs out the room leaving me all alone.

(Keegan's POV)
I get my phone out and call Shay. She picks up quickly.
"Hello Keegan?" She says.

"Shay hi, you haven't talked to Troian recently have you?" I ask.

There's a few seconds of silence until she speaks up.

"Uhm.. I.." And then the line goes dead.

I start panicking and then I call Ashley.

"Ashley please tell me you're with Troian." I say as soon as she picks up.
"Troian's in London, Keegan. I spoke with her a few hours ago and she's okay you don't need to worry." She says.
"Why is she in London?! I thought you guys were spending some time together?" I say with worry in my voice.
"She didn't tell you did she? Damn it Troian I thought she would." Ashley says.
"Tell me what?"

"That she isn't coming back to LA Keegan."

"What?! Why!"

"Because of everything that happened with you and Lucy. And Lucy has told me about the other baby.. which I kinda told Troian about..." Ashley mumbles.

I hang up and rush to my car.
I drive quickly home and get out my laptop.
I book a plane to London.
For tonight.
Once I booked my flight, I quickly went to pack a few things.

I order a cab while I'm packing and by the time I'm finished, it's already here. I walk quickly outside to the cab with my suitcase and get inside. It doesn't take long to get to the airport so as soon as I'm there, I pay the driver and walk inside. I wait 3 hours until my plane actually takes off. It's not a long way but I mostly sleep throughout the flight. When my flight lands and as soon as I walk out of the airport with my bags, something hits me.
Troian could be anywhere in London and I have no idea where.
I remember Shay is staying here and I try and think about the place she said she would stay at and it comes back to me. Troian might be there with her.
I wait for a cab to come and once I get inside it, I tell the driver the address and it drives me straight to it.
I look outside the window of the cab as it's driving. It's raining outside, so I've heard that England has bad weather and it's probably like this 24/7.
I snap out my thoughts as it arrives at Shay's place. Or I think this is her place.
I walk up to the door and knock on it. I wait a few seconds until someone opens it.

(Troian's POV)
*Before Keegan arrived in England*
Me and Shay are just driving to mini golf as she planned. I haven't spoken to anyone apart from Ashley. And Shay obviously. I haven't talked to Keegan in 2 weeks and I feel bad that he might be getting worried about me. I mean of course he is. I need to stop thinking about him but I..I just can't.

I miss him.

So much.

I miss everything about him.
All his hugs, kisses, cuddles.

His voice, his laugh, his smile...

I just miss him. I need him. What have I done?
I don't realise that Shay has been talking to me this whole time until she starts shaking me. I also don't realise that I've been crying and my whole face is stained with tears.

"Troian? Hey what's wrong?" I hear Shay's panicky voice.

"I miss him Shay, I miss him so much." Tears just keep coming down.

Shay pulls me into a hug. "Do you want to head back to my place?"
I nod my head and she smiles and I hear a soft "Okay" from her.
We head back to her place and I sit down on the couch curl up into a ball.

"I miss his voice. I just need to hear his voice." I say quietly.

Shay comes and sits down next to me. "Do you want to fly back home? I can buy you a plane ticket." She smiles lightly.
I think about going back to LA and everything that's happened. I keep thinking until my thoughts are interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Yes please. And I'll go and get that while you get the plane tickets." I say and Shay nods.

I walk to the door and open it.
I can't believe it.
"Keegan?.." is all I can say.
