Mistakes - Treegan

'Dinner?'

'The next day.'
Keegan's POV
Today was another work day. But I was glad because we had to work on the 'Spoby moments' again. I really loved working with Troian.
I was sitting with Ian and Tyler when they started waving their hands in my face. I guess I started daydreaming again. I really need to stop doing that in public.
"Keegan? you still there? Earth to Keegan?" Tyler said. "Oh yeah I'm here I just daydreamed a little." I laugh nervously. "You seem to have been doing that a lot recently. What do you keep daydreaming about?" Ian asked. "uhm it's nothing you know just got lost in my thoughts." I said. "That didn't answer my question. You can tell us anything Keegan, we're your best friends" They both said.
I sighed. "You know work has just been hard, I don't feel like I'm working as hard as I should be" I lie straight up to them. But they don't realise. Phew.
"Oh Keegan what are you on about? You work extremely hard you shouldn't doubt yourself" Ian says. "Yeah exactly you work really hard" Tyler says and they both smile at me. "Thanks guys I'll try and not bring myself down with that" I say.
"Speaking of work, I've got to go and get ready to film with Troian". They both nod. "See you later" Ian and Tyler say as I walk off. Thank god. I thought to myself while walking to my dressing room. "They definitely don't need to know about what I was really hiding." I say. I walk to my dressing room and get ready for my scene with Troian.
As soon as I'm ready I walk to the set in suppose to be at and see Troian. "Hey" I sit down next to her on the couch. "Hey" She says looking at me and smiling. It took every nerve in my body to not kiss her right there. "Everybody ready?" I hear Marlene shout. "We should get into positions" Troian says.
And with that we get on with the scene.
"Toby I have to go, my mom's gonna be wondering why I'm so late" 'Spencer' says.
"But can't you stay a little longer, I just got back I've missed you"
"I'll meet you at 3 at the brew okay?" She smiles.
"Okay fine but do I get a goodbye kiss?" 'Toby' chuckles.
She kissed me and this wasn't like any other kiss. I felt something. I'm sure she didn't feel it but it was there.
"CUT." and with that we left that scene where it was. Marlene said it was perfect so we didn't need to film it again.

Troian's POV
We filmed another 'Spoby moment' but when Keegan kissed me, I felt something. He probably didn't feel it but it went throughout my body. It was a really good feeling. I look at the ground and smile to myself. I see Keegan walking off and I quickly run after him. I had to ask him something and I needed to know what I was feeling. "Keegan wait up." He turns around and looks at me. "Uhm I know this might be random but do you want to go out for dinner tonight? You know just as a friendly dinner" I smile. "Yeah sure that would be nice." He smiles back at me. God his smile is perfect. o m g what am I saying. Troian a little reminder, you are getting married to Patrick. Not Keegan. "Okay see you tonight then" I say and then casually walk away smiling.

*8pm*
"Patrick I'll be back around 10 or later" I say. "Okay have fun with the girls, tell Lucy and Ian I'm congratulating them" "Okay will do" I quickly check my outfit in the mirror again. I'm wearing a cute, short, white dress. "Bye" I shout as I leave the house. I get into my car and drive to the restaurant I said to Keegan that we would meet at. I was really excited for tonight, I mean I didn't know what would happen but recently I always get kinda nervous but the good kind of nervous around Keegan.

I pulled up to the restaurant and saw that Keegan was already there. He had a black suit on, quite similar to the one was wearing to my engagement party.
I have got to say he did look very handsome.
I get out my car and walk up to him. "Hey" he smiles as he sees me. "Hey. I smile back. How are you?" "Im good, little bit cold out here." He chuckles.
"Yeah sorry I took so long, lets get inside shall we?" He nods and as we head inside his hand brushes against mine, I smile to myself.
Why am I being like this. Troian you need to stop.
A voice in my head keeps telling me. I get lost in my thoughts because I hear Keegan saying my name.
"Troian? You still there?" I quickly snap back to reality. "Yeah sorry got a little lost in my thoughts." I say

"So.." I say.
"So.." He says.
There's a couple of seconds of awkward silence until Keegan speaks up.
"What made you want to have dinner with me?" He smiles.
"Ah you know just wanting to spend a lil time with my bestfriend" I chuckle. But he has no idea the real reason I wanted to have dinner with him. I needed to know if... well you know... if I was inlove with him.. Troian no you can N O T be in love with Keegan. For goodness sake Troian you have to stop these feelings because if they grow any bigger, there will be trouble. Big big trouble. That stupid little voice in my head.
"I'm glad we're having dinner, we haven't talked a lot recently." Keegan looks at me and smiles.
"Me too, and I'm glad you're here as well" I put my hand on top of his without even thinking.

Keegan's POV
My feelings for Troian really do need to stop. She is with Patrick. She is getting married to him. Damn how I wish I could be that person marrying Troian.
"Let's order our food shall we?" I say.
"Yep let's do it."
Our food comes and after we've eaten, we go and take a walk.
I'm going to tell her. Right now. I've been in love with her since the day I met her.
"Troian there's something I need to tell you.." I say not making eye contact.
"Yeah what's up Keegs?" Her soft voice says.
"I know this is really bad but I've had these feelings for you since...well the day we met. I love you" I finally look up and her eyes meet mine.
"Keegan.. I.. I don't really know what to say. I mean I don't want things to get awkward but.. I don't think I feel the same"
She looked at me with eyes I couldn't read.
"Oh... uhm that's understandable of course you don't, you're getting married to Patrick. Yeah things won't get awkward don't worry"
I force a smile.
"Do you want me to drive you home?" I say quickly changing the subject.
"Yeah that would be good thanks." I can see she makes a forced smile as well.
I drive Troian home and the car drive is silent as we drive. I eventually pull up to her house.
"I'll see you tomorrow yeah?" I pull a genuine smile at her.
"Yeah see you tomorrow Keegs" She smiles and then quickly gets out the car. I see her walking up to her house door and walking inside.
As she closes the door, I see her smiling at me.
