Mistakes - Treegan

'Is this...real?'

(Troian's POV)
"So what is that you wanted to ask me?" I smile at him.
I watch him as he pulls out the small box I saw earlier.

"Troian I know we haven't been together for long but I have known you for so long and I wouldn't want to ever be with someone else. I love you so much and I don't want to spend another day without you."
Keegan finishes and I watch him open the box and get down on one knee.

(A/N ;Oh yes you know what's happening.)

"Troian Avery Bellisario,"

"Will you marry me?" He smiles.

I can feel the tears forming in my eyes.
"Yes yes yes." I kiss him.
Keegan kisses back and we pull away after what felt like hours but it was only a few seconds.
He puts the ring on my finger and I hug as tight as I can.
"I love you too." I say before kissing him again.

We sit down on some rocks near the lake watching the sun go down.

Keegan speaks up and says "Should we prank Shay? I told her I was gonna propose and we could say that you said no." He chuckles.
"Oh my god yes let's do that." I laugh.
"Wait I need to get my fake tears ready." I keep laughing.

Keegan holds my hand and we walk to the car talking about the plan to prank Shay. All the way home we do that too.

"Okay let me get my tears ready." I say.
I get out the car and walk up to the door knocking really fast.
Shay opens it immediately.
"Troian hey how did it go?" She smiles but it fades very quickly as she sees me crying.
"Oh my god what happened?" She says taking me inside.
"Keegan.. proposed.." I say between sobs.
"That's amazing but what did you say?.." Shay asks rubbing her hand up my back.
"I.. said.. no..." I say quietly still 'crying.'
"And I think I hurt Keegan really badly.. I didn't mean to. I just wasn't ready for a marriage yet Shay!" I say.
"Hey I'm sure Keegan understands that, he loves you enough to do so." She says comforting me.
I look up and see that someone has come through the front door.

"Uhm sorry I just uhm.. came to get my things." Keegan mumbles.
Yes the plan is working. I thought in my head.

"Wait Keegan where are you going??" Shay asks standing up.
"I don't know yet.. probably back to LA." He says with no emotion.
"But what about you and Troian? You guys need to sort this out." She says.
I walk up to him and give him a look that says "I can't do this anymore", as I try to hide my smile.
"Yeah I think we do need to sort this out." I link our fingers together and stand next to him and we both look at Shay.
"Wait I'm so confused here why are you guys holding hands??" Her face is full of confusion.

Me and Keegan burst out laughing.
Shay's confusion goes away quickly as she realises what we've been doing.

"You guys have got to be kidding me." She says.
"We got youuuuu." We keep laughing.
"I was actually really worried you guys." She chuckles lightly.
"Sorry." We chuckle.
"You won't do it again will you?" She says.
"Can't promise anything." I smile evilly.
"Oh I'll get you back for that." She gives us an evil laugh which makes us all keep chuckling.

"But now that you guys are engaged, we should have a small celebration!!" Shay says.
"Yeah we should." Keegan smiles down at me.
We head into the kitchen and Shay gets out the champagne.
We start talking about the wedding.

*One week later*

Me, Keegan and Shay are heading back to LA today. We're already at the airport and just about to board our plane.
This past week we've just been going around London, you know just enjoying ourselves. I contacted Marlene to tell her I'm coming back on set so it's not a surprise to her.

*After the plane ride*

The cab pulls up to our house and we get all our suitcases inside.
"It feels good to be home." I say smiling.
"Yeah it really does." Keegan says.
We pack all our stuff away and order a takeaway. We just sit by the TV and talk. I don't know why but it feels really nice to do this with Keegan. He makes me feel safe.

I keep smiling at him and he looks at me.
"What you smiling at?" He chuckles.
"Your gorgeous little face." I say still smiling.
"Well I can say the same about you." He says and smiles.
"I'm really lucky to have someone like you." I say putting my head on his shoulder.
"And I'm really really lucky to have you." He says putting his hand on top of mine.
"And I'm really excited for this wedding. I couldn't be more happier than this." Keegan gives me a small smile, and kisses my head. I fall asleep on him and I assume he carried me upstairs because I wake up in bed next to him.
I just look at him while he lays there ,sleeping , peacefully and smile.
