A/N Sorry, I'll make this short. Okay, so the next two of three weeks I'm going to be really busy with thanksgiving and my dance recital and Black Friday and Christmas tree hunting, so I'm not sure if I'll have time to publish any chapters for a few weeks, but I'll try my hardest. I'm sorry, so please don't beat me up. Anyways, love y'all and enjoy!

The Doctor has been building this thingy that's supposed to scan or something, I don't really know. I just know he thinks it important and felt the need to build it with weird objects.
"Right. Shield's up. Let's scan." He told me once he finished.
"What are you getting?" I asked.
"Upstairs. No traces of high technology. Totally normal? No, no, no, no, no, it can't be. It's too normal." He said, frustrated.
"Only you could say too normal is a problem. You said I could be lost forever. Just go upstairs and get me out of this mess." I told him, knowing there would be some reason he wouldn't be able to.
"Without knowing and get myself killed? Then you really are lost. If I could just get a look in there. Hold on. Use the data bank. Get me the plans of this building. I want to know its history, the layout, everything. Meanwhile, I shall recruit a spy." I sighed and nodded even though he couldn't see me.
"Wai-!" I yelled, remembering I still needed to tell him about my body heat but was cut off when he turned off his earpiece again, leaving me alone in that death trap of a spaceship. I needed to tell him but he wasn't giving me the chance.
I sighed again, deciding to just work on getting the house plans that he needed.

"Astrid, I got a job!" The Doctor told me excitedly the next day.
"Congratulations, who has the misfortune of having you work at their company?" I asked him, smirking when I heard the pout in his voice. I was still working on the plans.
"Well, I didn't technically get a job, I'm just filling in for my good friend Craig. He touched some 'mold' that's in his living room. He has to sleep in so I am just making sure he doesn't get fired." He clarified.
"Sounds fun. Make sure you don't get fired either." I told him.
"I'll do my best, I mean really, how hard could it possibly be?" I giggled.
"Doctor?"
"Not now, Astrid. I have to hurry or I'll be late for Craig's job." He interrupted before turning the earpiece off again. Why wouldn't he just let me talk?!
I smacked the control panel with my fist, silently cursing him. I sighed, deciding to just find the house plans.
~
"Astrid." I heard the Doctor say through the earpiece a few hours later.
"That's Astrid Grove." I heard Craig say in the background.
"Oh, of course, you can understand us now. Hurrah. Got those plans yet?" He asked me. I groaned a little.
"Still searching for them." I told him while scanning through some files.
