Running through the hospital doors, they reached the reception desk "Excuse me, where is Amelia Calaway?" asked Taliana anxiously. After a few security questions he receptionist looked through the vast amount of paper on her desk and told them that patient would be found down the corridor they were on, on the left, room 28.
As soon as the opened the ward's door and Taliana spotted their mum, she threw herself on the floor, next to her mum's bed and started crying her eyes out, saying she never meant to cause any of this and she loved her very dearly. Her mother was comforting her when Lila and Melvin came. Lila rushed in asking her if she was okay and what had happened. "It's nothing just a minor heart attack," said Amelia. "HEART ATTACK!" shouted Lila and Taliana in unison. A nurse came in and scolded them for shouting, saying they will be kicked out if the shout again. Their mum told the nurse it wouldn't happen again and turned back to Taliana and Lila. "It's nothing much, just the doctor needs to keep my heart monitored for a while and do some checkups, that's all," she whispered, aware of the nurse. "But mum, when will you come home?" whined Lila.
"Oh don't worry about me, they will keep me for a while to make sure it doesn't happen again, but you go carry on with your lives and whatever happens, follow yours dreams..."

Those words echoed in Lila's head that night. She couldn't sleep at all, those words kept her awake. All she could think about was her dream since she was a kid, to study magic in the gleaming Capitol city, Grandowlin...
