Alia
Alia smiled at the moving picture of herself and Sirius on their wedding day, her eye's filling with tears. What ever happened to those happier times? They were such carefree children at that point; madly in love and would do everything and anything for each other. They were the same now except they now had more responsibilities, they had to become grown ups from the moment Alia fell pregnant with Elenie.
"I found it in the loft a few days ago." Sirius' voice sounded from behind Alia. She quickly wiped her tears and turned around with a smile.
"What here? Why on earth did your mother have a photo of us? She hated us." Alia laughed, confused as to why the picture was there.
"I don't know. Maybe she did have a soft spot for me after all." Sirius joked with a shrug. Alia followed him as he walked down the stairs and placed the picture in the sitting room.
"Sirius, your mother hated you." Alia laughed as she took a seat on the sofa.
"I know" Sirius laughed as he took a seat in the armchair across from her "you got a letter today." He picked it up from the coffee table and threw it to Alia.
"Who from?" Alia asked.
"I didn't open it." Sirius shrugged.
Alia tore open the letter with interest and began to read.
Dear Alia,
I hope that you and Elenie are well as I haven't heard from you for a while? I'm worried about you Al please write back at your earliest convenience.
Also, whilst I was writing mother saw and wants to invite you and Elenie to a ball that they're having at the Manor next Saturday night. I'm not sure what her agenda is, i'm just passing on the message. Please consider Al, that's all I ask! It would be nice to see you with family again.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Your sister,
Annabelle McKinnon.
"It's from Belle." Alia said to Sirius as she re-read the letter with confusion. Her mother hadn't wanted to see her for years so why now?
"How is she?" Sirius asked as he read his newspaper.
"My mother wants to see me and Elenie." Alia told him. Sirius set his paper down and looked at her with confusion.
"Is that a good thing?" He asked her.
"I'm not sure. But maybe I should go. I'll just be on my guard." Alia told him, grabbing a piece of parchment to write back to Belle.
"Okay, it would be good for Elenie to meet the McKinnon side of her family." Sirius smiled encouragingly.
"I hope so."

Elenie
Elenie sighed as she watched the Owl's swoop around the Great Hall delivering the morning's post to students. She rested her head on her hand and looked over at George who looked just as miserable as she did. When Hermione had told him about Umbridge's punishment he was ready to knock her door down and attack her, but Hermione, Fred and Ginny had managed to calm him down.
An Owl suddenly landed in front of her, cutting off her view of George. She quickly recognised it as her mother's owl. Elenie took the post and fed it an Owl treat from the table, it squaked and then took to the skies again. Elenie tore the letter open and began to read.
Dear Elenie,
I hope you're well, we're missing you at home! I trust that Hogwarts is a nightmare but i'm glad that you're sticking to the rules that Umbridge set - Hermione told me.
Make sure you continue to follow the rules and continue to make sure George does as well; Molly would go mad if she thought that he was putting himself in danger. Things will get better soon!
Anyway, a bit of good news I hope! I'm coming to save you from the hell hole on Saturday! Your Aunt Belle wrote to me and we have been invited to a ball by my mother - don't worry i'll make sure to protect you from her ancient McKinnon views. Please wear something conservative and something nice, not that I think you'll turn up in your sweat pants!
Meet you in the Hogwarts Courtyard on Saturday at seven o'clock sharp.
Send Harry our love!
Lots of love,
Mum
Elenie smiled at her mother's word's and set the letter down in front of her. She looked up and gave George a small smile as she noticed he was staring at her from down the other end of the Gryffindor table.
"Who's your letter from El?" Harry asked, sitting down next to her and grabbing a plate.
"Oh, only Mum! They send their love." Elenie smiled at him and passed him the letter to read.
"She puts that on every letter." Harry laughed as he grabbed a slice of toast.
"Yeah I know." Elenie rolled her eye's with a small laugh.
"I heard about Umbridge's punishment, are you okay?" Harry asked, looking at her with concern.
"Yeah I suppose, it's really strange just smiling at him and waving at him from the other side of the common room or corridor." Elenie shrugged, this was really going to test their relationship.
"He said the same, he went absolutely ballistic when Hermione told him what Umbridge had said to you." Harry told her.
"I know Ginny told me. I just wish there was something we could do just to see each other, even if it was just for two minutes" Elenie sighed.
"Maybe there is something that we can do." Harry whispered, putting his head down so that nobody could see him talking.
"You'd do that?" Elenie asked him.
"Of course I would Ellie, you're basically my sister." Harry rolled his eye's at her.
"Thanks Harry." Elenie smiled.
"Okay, let me speak to Hermione, Ron and Fred and we'll sort something out." Harry smiled a little.
"Okay, i'll see you later i'm running late for charms." Elenie looked at her watch and quickly rushed out of the great hall.
She couldn't wait to see George.
