I stretched my arms over my head and slightly winced at the small amount of pain that still resided in my back from a week ago. I looked out the window and smiled knowing it was Friday and was glad that the weekend was ahead of me. My smile quickly turned into a grimace when I remembered I had Defense Against the Dark Arts after Lunch.  No, it was true I hadn't formally met Dolores Umbridge yet, but by the glares she gave me something told me I didn't want to.

Sighing I got up and noticed that Abby was the only other one in here besides for me and she was sleeping. I walked over to her four poster bed and was about to shake her awake, when her bright blue eyes flashed open.

I stepped back and said, "Abby?"

She jolted up, her blue eyes wide and foggy as she spoke in a voice that was certainly not hers, "It will happen soon. He is building an army.. powerful, strong. A friend will die. The one who could save us will come close to death might.. even.. face.. it..."

I stared bewildered and utterly confused as I stared down at Abby who suddenly was sleeping in her bed again.. as if nothing had happened.

Did Abby just make a prophecy?

I was in a state of shock, so when Abby truly woke up I didn't even notice.

"Rose?" She said in a soft voice, "What's wrong?"

"Abby..." I started, "Are you by an chance related to a seer?"

She looked confused, "I don't think so, why?'

"Oh!" I said and smiled, "Oh wow, just wondering. Well we better get going or were going to miss breakfast!"

She smiled back a little hesitantly before saying, "Let's go!"

I watched Abby's back as she walked away and made a mental note to ask Dumbledore about what just happened and what it could possibly mean.

I took a seat near the back in the brightly lit Charms class. The doors flew open and Professor Flitwick came strolling in. He smiled about as he started to place his belongings on his desk and looked up at the class.

Grinning broadly he said, "Ah, hello! How nice it is to see all of you after the break! Just a few annoucments first, anyone wishing to try out for the school chorus should see me immediately -

Before Professor Flitwick could complete his sentence the doors to his room opened and I looked to see the grey-eyed boy from Potions hastily come in.

Professor Flitwick, however, ignored him and went back to his speech while I remembered the boy's name was Liam. He looked around the classroom searching for a seat and I bitterly realized the only empty seat was the one beside me. Of course no one wants to sit me, I'm a killer. Hell, I wouldn't even sit with me...

His eyes narrowed but by the way he walked I couldn't tell weather or not he was okay with sitting with me. I tried to give him a small smile but I think it may have appeared as a scowl.

I turned my attention back to Professor Flitwick who was now dividing the class into pairs of twos to a practice a new spell. He came over to me and looked around the room for a partner but nearly everyone who was left suddenly looked away.

"It's okay, Professor, I don't mind working by myself." I said quietly.

"I don't mind working with her." Liam's abruptly said from next to me, I glanced over at him and he gave me a smile.

I nodded as Professor Flitwick smiled and said, "Very well, you can begin now."

I walked over to the window with Liam following me and turned to face him.
