Sighing, I brushed back my hair and tied it into a high pig tail.
It was day 5. 5 days since my family had died.
5 days since my life has turned.
I sat in between Nicholas and Ethan. They didn't bother looking up.
Ethan was reading a book. His legs crossed. His hair hanging over his forehead.
Nicholas watched the small TV that was magically here. I stared at him. Why were they send to protect me?
The corner of his mouth turned up.
"Your staring." He said.
I blushed and looked down.
"No I'm not!" I blurted out.
He grinned and turned to face me.
"Ok. What's up baby doll?" He asked seriously.
All traces of amusement wiped form his face. I sighed.
"I can feel it. It may sound weird. But I can feel the dark magic getting closer." I said. They both shot into action. I jumped in surprise.
"CASI!" They yelled. Casimir ran into the warehouse wild eyed.
"What?!" He asked breathless.
"We need to start training her!" Ethan snapped.
"How?"
"Well I don't know!"
"Don't look at me!!"
"How do you train someone?"
I looked at them in turn.
"YOU MEAN YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO HELP ME?" I shrieked. They flinched and looked at me with wide eyes, as if realising I'm actually there. I ran my hands through my hair in frustration. They didn't even know what they were doing!
They didn't know why they were sent!
They don't know what to do!
I'm going to fight alone!
I'm going to die.___________________________
