Chapter 1

"Let's pack up now, I don't want to play anymore," Brandon was sick of gaming for the day, the others agreed, Johnny and Nya had gone home but Chloe and Jacob stayed to help out. Brandon's room was a mess, there were games everywhere and popcorn on the floor, "I'll let the vacuum cleaners in," Megan ran outside and called there names. "Shadow!! Archie!!" The two dogs bolted inside wagging their tailed with delight, they cleaned up the floor without stopping. "Wow hungry dogs," Chloe pet them as they ate, when they cleaned it all up they jumped onto Brandon's bed and licked Brandon in the face, "get off," he screeched while laughing. Megan grabbed the little puppy and small dog off of him, "Brandon's not food," she giggled, kissed Shadows nose, he licked her as a kiss. "Get out off here," she commanded them to go outside, she dashed out while playing into the big backyard. Brandon was wiping his face, "sorry Brandon," Megan apologized, sitting down next to him and putting her arm around him. Chloe and Jacob decided to leave, saying there goodbyes and exiting the front door.
"Well what do you wanna do now?" He asked feeling lost. "Idk, I want to swim in the pool," Megan was feeling the need to cool off, it was boiling in Arizona right now. "Let's go then," he said running out the door, Megan had almost forgot that she didn't have bathers on, "um I gotta change," she pointed out with a chuckled. "Oh yea," he laughed, sitting on a chair outside waiting for her to return. When she did she had black and white strip bathers, Brandon stared at her for a bit, "stop it!" She laughed with embarrassment, she didn't want to be stared down like a hawk. "Sorry," he apologized with guilt, they jumped in the pool together while holding hands. They felt a magnificent splash of water over them as they hit the water in milliseconds. Megan swam up immediately but Brandon swam below to show off how long he could hold his breath, she rolled her eyes at his way of impressing her. He sped up next to her, taking a deep breathe to get air back in his lunges. "Did you miss me?" He asked weirdly, Megan nodded with confusion. "Lyt," she said awkwardly, swimming to the edge of the pool to sit down on the ledge. Brandon followed her, sitting close to her and lying his arm on her shoulder as an arm rest. "Strange child," Christine randomly came up behind them, she was obviously spying on them, 'how long had she been standing there for?' she asked herself with embarressment. Brandon was glaring at his mum for startling him because he nearly forward into the deep water, "why are you picking on me?" he yelled, almost getting up and storming up to her. "I'm not, your just weird," she laughed, leaving him alone after all that, "what just happened....?" she asked, confused even more then before. "I have no idea?" he laughed, "i wanna have a pool party but i have like no friends here, only you guys because my other friends live on the other side of the world to me," she felt a sudden sick inside her, a homesick and sad feeling. "I miss them," she sobbed sadly, Brandon felt her sadness, he put his arms out to hug her, she just wanted his comfort right now. She started to feel happier after a while, after all who says she cant come back to Australia one day? she had to go back to see her family, her cousins, aunties, uncles, grandparents etc. "Please don't be sad, i hate seeing you miserable," he tucked her fringe behind her ear as he said it, "i'm sorry," she wailed. She got out of the pool and grabbed her towel, sitting on a chair, "Brandon, you don't have to follow me everywhere," she smirked as he sat next to her, "but i can't stop looking at your pretty face," he flirted, "oh stop," she blushed. "Why doesn't Hunter hang with you?" She pointed to the guy in the doorway, he came forward and rubbed Brandon's hair, purposely annoying him. "This is why he doesn't like me," Hunter laughed, "I hate him, his so annoying," Megan giggled as he turned around and cussed, "piss off shit face," he nearly slapped Hunters arm but missed. Megan daringly poked him boredly, he glared at her, "not you too," he groaned, crossing his arms, a little pissed off. Hunter called Megan over, leaving Brandon alone, he frowned as she left, "I think Brandon is way too attached to me," she stated, glancing back at him. Hunter agreed, "its cute," he smiled dorkily, "Ashton has feeling for you too," he laughed, "oh" she laughed with him, Ashton held his breathe as he walked past them, "uh... what?" He was confused by the smirks on their faces. "Nothing cutey," she pat his head and shooed him away, "Brandon would be jealous," Hunter joked, Megan rolled her eyes at him. "Life's weird," she thought, "very, because i'm in your life," he explained, in a weird tone. "You have been in my life for a long time, you've just been my idol for longer then i've known you. Its kinda weird being a part of your actually family now, not just the Rowland fam, i feel special." Megan felt her heart warm up, "You are special, your very special to me, Brandon, Ashton, your family, your friends, your fans, everyone." Hunter side hugged her, Simone peeked from the corridor, "hey guys, whats going on?" She was curious, "we've been talking about life," Megan explained, with a grin on her face. "Ok," she lost interest and went outside, looking for Ashton, who was sitting with Brandon.
"Hey guys," Simone greeted the two boys who were lazily relaxing on chairs. "Hey salmon," Ashton called her by her nickname to annoy her because she hated it, "you like Megan?" She looked at Ashton, he sunk in the chair. Brandon turned to him, he was confused, "she is mine," he threatened, Ashton shook a little, slightly scared.
