Kayden POV
My eyes flew opened and concentrated on the beautiful figure laying beside me , remembering our last night give me shivers I was very tempted to make love to her but I already had done it thrice so I didn't wanted her to be too tired ,so got up from my sleeping position and went to take a bath I was careful not to disturb her sleep

When I returned from the bathroom I saw Victoria whimpering in her sleep her face was covered with sweat I immediately ran towards her shaking her vigorously but she won't wake I prayed with all my heart that her dream will soon end I embraced her while saying sweet encouraging words soon her whimpering ceased and she abruptly opened her eyes for few moments her brain refused to register anything but I hugged her more strongly slowly her breathing became normal
"Victoria are you alright now?" I softly asked while wiping last strain of tear
"I'm sorry you had to see me like this"
"It's perfectly fine we all are humans we all have some flaws,fears but they don't make us weak they only tell us that we are so much human " I said while looking at her face which had retained some of her colour back earlier her face was deprived of colour she looked so fragile such a state that he didn't like to see again I hugged her and waited till her breathing had become normal
"Would you like to tell me about your dream?" I asked her
"I don't know Kayden it all started from the day when that godforsaken soul Drake took mom then I was at Mithila I did all what I could do to find her but deliberately failed in doing so then he came and ........." I could sense her voice cracking
"And?" I asked very softly and calmly but my mind was calculating and was thinking like of hundred painful ways to kill him
"He came and wanted to speak to me about the price for her release little did I know that he wanted to marry me which I rejected straight away he was furious and he tried to force himself on me luckily I saw a dagger and made my move but still he didn't let his plans to waver he wanted to marry me even if it means by forcing me I hit him on his chest in my defence and kicked him out but I still couldn't tell that his presence disgusted me I felt like......"
That was all needed to anger me how dare he tried to force himself on her I'll break his every single bone once I find him I was brought out of my mind to rest when I heard my Victoria cry I don't know why but her cry made my heart stop and my heart was aching for her instantly I comforted her by hugging her
"Shh don't worry love I'm here no one will ever harm you I promise " I said while stroking her hair while she cried in my arms
"Please love stop crying I can't see you in such a state" I said painfully while I wiped her rebellious tears which weren't stoping
"Victoria Victoria love listen to me you are not weak you are very strong you fought him you defeated him that's what matters now don't let him destroy your spirits , don't let him defeat you by breaking you I promise he will pay for what that bastard did "
I will do everything in my power to protect her I won't let anyone harm her after so much time I've someone whom I can take care of besides River, I won't let anything happen to her
It seemed that time itself had stopped we were both in each other arms none us letting each other go finally I broke the silence
"Did you tell this to anyone besides me or does anyone know about it?" I asked softly
"No no one know about this besides me and you I haven't told anyone about it I don't want anyone to judge me as a weak person " she slowly said
