I closed my locker and made my way down the hallway. Throughout the day I slowly met all of Natsu's friends. I was currently on my way to lunch. I walked into the loud and crowded lunch room and gripped my lunch box tighter. I looked around and spotted a table filled with familiar faces. I smiled at the one empty seat at the table. I noticed a girl was about to sit there but Natsu shooed her away. I walked over at slid into the seat between Natsu and a girl I met earlier to be called Erza.

"Hello, Lucy." Erza greeted. I looked towards her and smiled. Erza was beautiful. Her last name was Scarlet named after her scarlet red hair. I thought it was adorable how when she was little her friend Jellal said her last name would be Scarlet so he would never forget her and would just have to look at her hair. Today they are now dating which is even more cute. She has chocolate brown eyes like me.

"Hi, Erza!" I smiled.

I unwrapped my lunch, took my chopsticks and plucked a sushi from the box. I slid it into my mouth and chomped. Yummy.

"That looks really good." My friend, Wendy mumbled as she stared at me. I giggled. She was two years younger then the rest of us but we didn't really mind. I pushed my box towards her. "Have as much as you'd like. It's to much for me to eat anyway." She smiled at me. "Are you sure?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. I smiled and nodded. She silently thanked me before stuffing her face.

"Anybody want to join me at the Sacura Café after school today?" Erza asked. We all turned to her. Everyone nodded but Wendy since she had a lot to homework to do and she was meeting up with her friend, Romeo. Mira had told me earlier that they secretly liked each other. "Sure I'll come." I shrugged. I had nothing better to do anyway. "Are your parents ok with it?" Erza asked. I stared at her. I hated when people brought up my parents. "Yes, I'm very sure. I uh don't live with them." I admitted. Everyone stared at me.

"Who do you live with then?" My locker buddy, Levy asked, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose. I sighed. "I live by myself. I actually really need to find a job." I said the last part to myself but everyone heard me.

"They have a job opening at the sacura Café!" Mira blurted. We all looked at her. "Really?" I stared at her as she nodded. "Great!" I squealed. "I'll work there!"

"I'm rooting for you, Luce." Natsu smiled as he threw an arm over my shoulder which made my face turn beat red.
