Chapter 11

I walked down the sidewalk, the only light illuminating my path were the dimly lit street lights. Leaves crunched beneath my feet every step I took. Stars dotted the sky and the moon was as full and bright as ever. I smiled at the moonlight that it poured onto Magnolia making it look beautiful at night.

It was silent other then the sounds of nature. Nothing could possibly ruin this nice; peaceful moment. Well at least I though so.

"Finally your alone." A voice echoed through the air making me freeze like a statue. I turned my head to an ally and a figure stepped out from the shadows. It was hooded, and wearing black jeans, and boots. It looked up towards me. It was a man. His eyes were a crimson red and his right eye was covered by black hair. I noticed a scar going across his nose. Scary. Before I knew it he was walking towards me.

Before I realized it my feet were moving on their own and I was now running down the street. I looked over my shoulder and saw him right on my trail. I noticed I was just a few blocks away from my apartment where Natsu was waiting for me. I smiled as I could almost taste the fire-place scent aroma that filled my house. I've grown to love that smell. I smiled as my apartment came into sight but as I reached for the front door I felt something metal hit the back of my head.

The last thing I felt before I passed out was the feeling of hitting the cold concrete ground. As I lost conscience I yelled out the only thing I was thinking about at that moment.

"Natsu!"

(Natsu's Perspective) - Finally!!!! >o< -

I paced around Luce's bedroom. She's been gone for past an hour and I was getting worried. She didn't know how bad it would be if they got ahold of her. No. I would never let them do anything to hurt her. She was my nakama. And I will always protect her.

That's when I heard it. "Natsu!" Her voice rang through the air. I didn't hesitate before I was grabbing a shirt pulling it on and stumbling down the stairs. I busted through the lobby doors and almost had a heart attack. Lucy was being dragged away by Rogue. Sting's partner. I ran towards him. Once he realized I was coming he threw her motionless body over his shoulder and started running.

I chased him through the streets, ignoring the glances strangers were giving us. Do they not care that someone is being kidnapped right before their eyes? I pulled myself forward as he made His way into an ally way. He jumped over trash bins, boxes, and over a cobblestone wall. I huffed before pulling my self over.

I looked around and tried to spot them. How did he disapear so fast? That's when I heard the sound of a car coming closer. I ran towards the sound only to find him throwing her in and himself in. Before I could reach them the car drive off, leaving me with smoke. I stared at the car until it disapeared.

She's gone. And I couldn't get her. Rage and guilt boiled up inside me.

"DAMMIT!"
