I cracked an eye open. It's been a full week since Natsu's been staying at my place. It was finally the weekend. And there has been no sign of any strange men.
I felt something heavy on my waist and I looked down and saw an arm draped across my waist. I blushed before slowly peeling it off and sliding out of the bed. I walked into the bathroom and started brushing my teeth. Once I was done I started brushing my hair and pulled some of it into a side ponytail. I pulled on a white button up shirt, navy skirt, and brown boots. I was about to walk out the door when a hand grabbed mine.
"Where're you going, Luce?" He sounds tired. I turned to face Natsu. His hair was messy and he was shirtless. As usual nowadays. "I'm going to the Sacura café for my job interview." I answered simply. He raked a hand through his hair. "You're still going to work there?" He asked, groggily. "Yes, I need the money. And also, Natsu you will be leaving soon right?" I raised an eyebrow and crossed my arms. He stared at me with his onyx eyes and shook his head. "Nope." He said, popping the p.
"Why not?! Because there is no guy coming to take me!" I grumbled. "They will come! And I don't want them to take you!" He retorted. I stared at him. That sentence made fireworks explode inside me. The past few days have been him eating up my kitchen and sleeping in my bed but it's filled me with a strange happiness. I've lived alone fore awhile so I thought I was just lonely but those words made me want to melt.
"Oh." I was all I could muster to say. I shook my head and went back to the main topic. "So I'll be seeing you, Natsu." I opened the front door only for him to grab my hand. "Be careful, Luce." Natsu warned. I just waved him off and left.
I walked into the sweet scented café and walked to the counter where Juvia stood. Once she noticed me she pulled me into a tight hug.
"Are you ready?" She asked, finally pulling away and giving me a chance to breathe.
I nodded.
She lead me into the back office and I sat down in the small plush seat. I crossed my legs and held my clammy hands together. I was starting to get nervous. Juvia sat down behind the large oak desk and grabbed a clip board.
^=^=^
"You have the job!" Juvia screamed, standing up and clap her hands. "Finally Juvia will have a friend with her, even if you are her love riral." She pulled me into another tight hug and I hugged her back. Once we finally let go of each other she lead mento the front of the café.
"See you tomorrow morning!" She waved goodbye to me as I left. I took a smell of the cold air. Winter is growing near.
