Chapter 9 - Welcome to the family sis!!

I shook my head then smirked, I took the bin that had pop cans in it, but now had ice, and threw it at him

 "Geez! What the..." he trailed off as his eyes landed on me

 "Hi shor-" I put my hand up, cutting him off

I looked at Derek "Why do you care if he goes with you or not? Is he your ride or something?"

They both mumbled or something "What might that something be?" i asked, staring at Logan "Well, um, he's my half brother.." he mumbled

"How long have you known?" i questioned "Always.." he mumbled

I sighed, i had a feeling what he wanted to tell me in my rush the airport was something big, i doubted he had feelings for me, looking between the two i felt tired

"I asked everyone who doesn’t live here to leave. So leave, thanks, bye" I stated before turning to Amanda

 I heard them leave, then Jackson walked over to me "Are you okay sis?" i just mumbled to the floor, so he hugged me. I wished i had Mason here to talk to, this day has just been horibble, but since i didnt i just hugged jackson back, happy for at least someone here.

After recovering, it came back in my mind, Jackson and Amanda are dating! Releasing Jackson i ran over to her, hugging here

"Welcome to the family, sis!" I yelled, she laughed

"I can’t wait till we get home to tell everyone about it!" I said, just then Amanda's eyes clouded with anger

"Excuse me?" she snapped

"Yeah, when your done  your vacation up here" i said, which judging from the look on her face that was the wrong thing to say

"Vacation? What did you think was going to happen when you came here? You'd catch me begging Derek to take me back? Well I’m not. You think, that because I don’t care about Derek anymore, we can just go home, but I didn’t even know Derek was here, I came here to start fresh, as you heard me say in the voicemail, you have been a terrible friend. I told Jackson just to say I came over crying cause of Derek, since I was leaving anyway" i looked down

"The real reason is that my parents were divorcing, and I wanted no part of that mess, since I’m 18, neither of my parents have custody of me. I have an aunt here in Vancouver that has signed papers to be my emergency contact. I decided to come here, because they have an amazing arts school that offered me a scholarship" i looked up, a little suprised, she never told me she was into art!

"hey! you never told me you did art" i said, surprised

"and you never told me Logan and you had a thing, so i guess that makes us even" she said, glaring at me. my eyes bulged out of my head

"we never had a thing!" i yelled

"yea? and what do you call you two kissing, hmmm?"

I shrugged looking down, she had a point, i peeked back up at her

"how did you find that out?" i asked

"Jackson told me, when i asked what was going on with you two" she said. I glanced at Jackson and he gave me the 'whoops' look, then i nodded

"But anyway, my point is, I was going through some of the worst parts of my life, who did I need? Who did I WANT? You! Only you, my best friend, but instead Jackson was there for me, AND he didn’t want me alone in an unfamiliar place, so he moved with me, that’s what you, my best friend, should of been doing. But now I’m done with you, show yourself out" then she turned and walked into her room, slamming the door. Jackson stood there for a second before turning to me

"Sis, it’s great that you and Logan finally worked things out. But you abandoned your best friend for him. Not the smartest move" he looked at me a little longer then went to go see Amanda.

I sighed, knowing he was right, I can’t believe what a bad friend I’ve been, and he ended up with a different girl anyway.

I looked back at her door one more time and whispered

"Every story has a, different ending" before walking out and shutting the door behind me.
