Nevada's POV
Finally home!
Don't get me wrong, I love Texas, but I miss my friends more. Tonight I'm going to the club with Sandy and her hubby.
Ouchie.
I think as I feel my ears finally pop. Once I got my bags from baggage claim, I go to find my loving mother. As I was doing so, I saw a very familiar face, I didn't really want to see, holding an handsome baby boy. But I'm still shocked and curious. I go talk to him. "Hey. Do you remember m-" he cut me off.
"Nev. How could I forget you. It hasn't really been that long." He said with one of his beautiful, slightly bushy, eyebrows up. His greenish grey eyes looking right at me, with the raising sun shining in them. Making them look so mag-
"Ready to g-..." My mom stops talking when she gets a good looking at the guy I was talking to. "Jake!!! How are you. The last time I saw you, you was storming out the house." My mom pouts and I groan at the embarrassment. "Cutie pie, yours?" She asks as she points to the little cute baby in Jake's arms.
"Nah, he's my little cuz. Ma went to the bathroom." He said. "Hey, Nev. How's Liz?" He asked. I narrowed my eyes at him. Shocked he would ask about her.
"She's fine. She's a mom and I think fiancé to Luke. I don't know, I haven't talked to her in almost a year." I said. His eyes narrowed towards me and before he could speak, my mom spoke.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we have to go. It's a 3-4 hour drive back home, so right now, we are going to the hotel. Before we miss our reservation. At three tomorrow we can start driving again." She points out, and I nod my head.
"Wait, what hotel are you going to?" Jake asked.
"Umm, the Tipton Hotel." My mom says. I chuckle at the thought of that one TV show.
Jake opened his mouth to say something but my mom grabbed my wrist and pulled me out the airport, to the car.
