I refrained from rubbing my eyes as I opened the front door. I saw everyone's car in the driveway, telling me JJ kept his word about the guys coming over. Liv was home too, which I had suspected as she always got home about an hour before me. "Honey I'm home!" I yelled throughout the house as I shut the heavy door behind me. I turned right into the kitchen that was empty. I could hear everyone laughing and talking loudly, as always, in the living room as I made myself a glass of water. "Your ice cream is in the freezer." Liv's voice came from behind me. I jumped lightly and turned around sharply. I sighed as I brought the glass to my lips. "You look tired." She said, tapping her chin with her finger. "I'm exhausted." I said truthfully before turning back around and getting out my ice cream. Mint Chocolate Chip. My favorite. I grabbed a spoon before opening it and placing the lid on the counter, immediately scooping out a small bite. "JJ told the guys that you two were together. But not about.....you know." She shrugged. I nodded understandingly as I took another small bite. "Come on. We're watching 'The Wedding Ringer'. We paused it just for you." She smiled, turning on her heel and walking away. I giggled as I made my way to the living room. "No that's bullshit!" I heard Tobi tell as soon as I entered the big open room. "No it's not! West Ham is bae!" Ethan yelled in response, taking a bite of his own ice cream. I looked around to see all of them eating ice cream. I rolled my eyes. "Guys, seriously? We all know Leeds is where it's at." Simon said as Liv sat down beside him and curled into his side. His arm went around her instantly. I wondered if they were together. "But Arsenal." JJ said quietly as I plopped down beside him, crossing my legs in front of me. "It's safe to say everyone here's team is better than Arsenal, Jide." I shrugged as I took my things out of the pocket of my hoodie, my ice cream safely in one hand. "Wow." Josh said, raising eyebrows at me. "Oh piss off." JJ muttered with a loud laugh. "Why do you have pepper spray?" Vik asked. He wasn't too interested into the football talk as usual. "Because I'm not a very strong person and I would rather not get raped." I shrugged. "Remind me to never piss you off." Tobi said, laughing. "Can I see it for a second?" Harry asked and held his hand out. "Harry, I wouldn't trust you with my phone, let alone with something that can cause someone to go blind." I said, grabbing the small can and standing up again. "Hold this." I told JJ, holding out my ice cream tub to him. He took it in his hand that didn't have his own ice cream in it. I heard Josh make a whipping sound and everyone's laughter before I left the room, going up the stairs to my own room. I put my pepper spray up and went to the toilet, and washing my hands of course, before going back downstairs. "Nah fuck off!" JJ yelled, laughing a bit. "What are we arguing about now?" I asked as I sat back down and took my ice cream again. "Whether or not you have JJ whipped already." Simon laughed. "I do." I shrugged, leaning onto JJ and stretching my legs over the arm of the couch and off of the edge. On the other side of JJ was Tobi and Ethan. And on the other couch was Liv, Simon, and Vik. Josh and Harry sat on the floor on top of blankets that I assumed Liv laid out for them. JJ sighed in defeat. "Oooh." Josh said while covering his mouth. "Are we going to watch this movie?" I asked, yawning. Liv pressed a button on the remote and the movie started playing. Everyone quieted down immediately, all occupied by their ice cream and the movie.

My eyes slowly fluttered open and I stretched. I was in my bed. I probably fell asleep on the couch last night. But I was supposed to have work today. I sat up quickly and grabbed my phone. It was already noon. Guess I'm not going then. I looked around my room, my eyes still feeling heavy, and saw a piece of paper on the pillow beside me. I reached over and unfolded it, seeing it was a note from JJ.

Mackenzie,
You fell asleep downstairs so I brought you here. I also turned off your alarm because you were clearly exhausted and didn't need to go to work anyways. Text me when you wake up and we can go get breakfast. Or lunch. Depending on when you wake up.

I rolled my eyes. I didn't want to go to work, but I knew my boss would be mad. Oh well. I unplugged my phone and went to JJ's contact, texting him that I was awake like he asked. I didn't expect a text back or anything soon because he was probably recording or something. So, I made my way to the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. I sighed as I stepped into the bathroom. I still felt tired, and when my phone rang it made my head throb. It was Liv's name that came up though, not JJ's. "Hello?" I asked, my voice still slightly groggy. "I was expecting you to still be asleep. Wow. Anyways, have you talked to JJ?" She asked quickly. "No. I texted him telling him I was awake but he hasn't responded." I shrugged, even though she couldn't see me. "Yeah he told me that he turned your alarm off. I figured you'd be mad." She said. "I don't even care anymore." I said. I heard her giggle and then she went quiet. "Well I've got to get going. I'll talk to you later. Bye." She said quickly. She hung up before I could respond. She did that often when she was at work, so it was nothing new. As I put my phone down on the counter and slipped my hoodie over my head, I suddenly felt really sick. I knew that pregnancy came with sickness and all that stuff, but I thought I was way too early in the pregnancy to get it, but what do I know? Not much, to be honest. I gripped the edge of the counter, not wanting to throw up. And it passed within what felt like ten minutes of just standing there. Of course it wasn't actually ten minutes, it jut felt like it. I sighed as I looked up at the mirror. Nine months to go.

A/N *Important*
Hello beautiful people. Now, I know I've been pretty good at keeping up with the updates on this story but I am going to have to take maybe a week of a break. I'm okay...just stressed. It's just I have a lot of projects and papers that I have to do for school and they are very important grades. The good news is that they are all due next week so I should be back to normal after that. The bad news is is that they are all due next week and I haven't started on any of them. Nevertheless, I shall be back in about a week or so. Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope you all have/had a wonderful day!
