I sighed, making my way through the cramped fraternity house, Kira's arm holding onto mine as we guided one another across the montage of drunken souls. Why am I here?
Sure I liked to smoke a bit of weed here and there, but I was never a drinker. Rather the person who drove and watched in hysterics as one by one all of my intelligent friends turned into bumbling fools.
But partying in and of itself isn't exactly boring.
"Where are we going?" I asked, not sure if the girl had heard me and her loud 'what!' in response assured me that she had in fact not.
"Where are we going!" I yelled this time quite a bit louder. "I mean, we're here aren't we?"
"Don't worry about it." Kira mumbled, loud enough for me to still hear her before we reached a set of stairs and began walking up them.
I mumbled an incoherent slur of annoyance as I nearly slipped on a wet step, finally reaching the top of the winding staircase.
"Are you going to tell me who we're meeting now? I swear to god if it's Zayn who goes here-" I began, a mild anger rising in my throat before Kira interrupted me.
"Oh fuck no, I hate him just as much as you do. The thing is, I was contacted by a ...friend of yours. They go here, but I'm sure they'll explain all that to you. He told me just to have you meet him in his room." She explained.
"He? Kira I have a boyfriend, I'm not meeting some guy in his room." I responded in utter confusion.
The brunette rolled her eyes, opening up the door labeled with a number 7 and pushing me in, the door closing roughly behind me.
My brain began to hurriedly process who in hell I could be meeting, and just as that oh so familiar name flashed across my mind, that crazy head of feathered hair and the smirk I adored turned around in a study chair.
"Teagan!" He chided.
"Louis." I mocked. "Why didn't you tell me you were going here?"
He shrugged. "I didn't know. It was that boyfriend of yours who ultimately suggested it."
"And why would he do that?"
"You know I'm very carefree on the outside, but on the inside I'm really quite a worry toad. Applied to nearly every college around, and was accepted here months ago. With scrutinizing thought I decided to go here. Looks like you're stuck with me babe." He quirked.
"Great..." I smirked sarcastically before breaking into a genuine smile and walking towards him.
"It's great to see you Louis, really." I added, hugging him from the side and sitting down on the edge of his bed."Harry thought you might like some friendly faces. It wasn't exactly coincidental I came here." He stated.
His room smelled of aftershave and beer.
"Why are you in a fucking fraternity?"
He shrugged. "I'm quite...persuasive. And I do like a good party."
I nodded, pretending to understand his uninformative response. "Alright, what have you been up to then?"
"Not much, just getting settled. How about you? Harry doesn't say much when I ask of you."
