Forty Three.

Harry's pov

It's been one month since Sarah's son, Samuel, was born and we are finally meeting with a lawyer to get our divorce finalized.

After lots of legal talk and many of signed papers, it was done.

Sarah had tried to tell me some sob story beforehand about how her boyfriend Jerome was never present to help her with her son, but honestly I just wasn't having it.

I am free from this woman and all the bull that comes with her.

I practically run out of the divorce lawyers office, in a mood so fantastic and free that I almost couldn't breathe.

This was the best I've felt in months. To finally be free to do what I wanted in my life without this divorce weighing on my shoulders was simply exhilarating.

Teagan was off work for the day and so as soon I reached my car I dialed her number, waiting anxiously for the pick up.

"Hey babe," she answers warmly.

"It's done. Tea, I'm freeeee!" I say with an uncontrollable fit of laughter.

"Yayyyy!" She cheers back comedically, "Are you coming over now?"

"Yep. I'll be there soon, I love you."

"Love you too."

I'm greeted at Teagans apartment with a kiss and I walk in, taking in a sweet aroma of dessert.

"I made you a cake," she chuckles.

"Aw, you didn't have to do that babe," I state, seeing Payton playing with some blocks on the rug.

I immediately go over and pick up the child and she starts to laugh and coo in excitement as I kiss her chubby cheeks.

Since last month, I'd started to visit a lot more during the week and have really grown close to the little girl. She was now one of the lights of my life, just like her mother.

A few minutes later as Teagan's icing the chocolate cake, Louis enters the apartment, just coming back from work with an "eyyyy! Big day yeah, mate!"

I chuckle, laying Payton back down to play her toys before going in for a friendly hug with him as he pats me on the back.

"Finally free yes, mate!" He says enthusiastically.

"Finally," I sigh in relief.

"And you've secured that bag too, right lad?" He asks with a cheeky wink.

I roll my eyes sarcastically with a smirk, "yes, Louis. I've got the bag."

I've got more money than I'll ever know what to do with. I just want to be able to take care of my family and give back to those less fortunate than myself.

Teagan shakes her head lovingly at the two of us as she gets out some plates and forks for the dessert and begins to cut us all a slice.

"Thanks babe," I thank when she hands me the plate of cake, and I moan lightly in delight upon he first delicious bite.

"This is great, Tea, thank you," Louis says.

"Mm, I agree, very good,"

"I'm glad you like it, can you guess the secret ingredient?"

"Uhhh sugar?" Louis chuckles, as we both continue to shovel forkfuls of the dessert into our mouths.

"Super strength laxatives," she responds with a wink and a straight face.

Of course she's joking... I think.

Louis laughs awkwardly and momentarily stops eating.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding! No crazy secret ingredient, geez chill out," she says with a chuckle.

Me and Louis look at one another with slightly scared expressions before he shrugs and resumes eating the food.

"So I've been meaning to ask you, how are you and Shawn?" I ask.

"Uhh, we're doing okay. Doin alright," he smiles lightly.

"Just taking things slow or-?" I ask.

"Yeah, Yeah we are for the most part," he nods in agreement with the statement.

"But you're happy, Yeah?"

"Yes! Yes, really happy, actually. And thanks," he smiles. "I know I told you not to tell Teagan but... I'm glad you did."

"That makes me sound like a bad friend," I laugh lightly. "But if you're happy then I'm happy."

"Aren't you two just the sweetest?" Teagan coos, walking over and laying an arm playfully around both of our shoulders.

"Yes, we are," we both say at the same time, leaning over with wide grins at the timing.

"Twinsies!" I exclaim.

"Oh gosh, I'm dating an idiot," Teagan sighs.

I lay a sloppy kiss to her cheek in response, "yes but you love it."

"Mm, I do," Teagan agrees, returning the kiss.

"Oi, get a room will ya?" Louis groans.

"Awww, you want one too Lou?" Teagan asks with a grin, leaning in and giving him a kiss on the cheek as well.

He playfully wipes it off and rolls his eyes.

"I love you two so much," Teagan suddenly says with seriousness.

"We love you too."
