Twenty Four.

Four months later

•Harry's POV•

"I'm doing well. I sold my old apartment after Sarah left and stayed with my mum for about a week, and took some time off from work. I got a new place and a roommate. I'm doing good," I explain.

It had been four months since Sarah left me. I still hurt, but every day I felt just a little bit better.

After everything I cut ties for a while with a lot of friends and such because I needed time to work on myself. This is the first time in a few months Louis and I are actually sitting down together and having a conversation.

"That's really great Harry, I'm happy for you," Louis replies.

"Thanks. And how are you?"

He sighs.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Me and Shawn broke up."

"Really?"

"Yeah, we did."

"Oh my gosh mate, I'm so sorry," I say, laying a hand on his shoulder.

"No, no it's fine, really. It was a couple months ago now but I just didn't wanna bring it up with you because you were going through your own shit. But you're doing well now yeah?"he asks, trying to change the subject.

"You could've told me Louis, I'm sorry. And yeah things are going good for me, what about you? Other than Shawn."

"Yeah other than that things are going really well. I just got a promotion at work and I love having Teagan and Payton here, it's really nice," he smiles.

"Right, so, you and Teagan, are you like?"

"A thing? No," he chuckles. "You would think we were married by the looks of it but no," he teases.

"Right, uh, did you wanna maybe talk about that?" I ask in a concerned tone.

"About what?"

"You and Shawn. You were together for a long time. Any chance you'll get back together you think?"

"I don't think so. What was said between I don't think are things that can just be looked over, yknow."

"So- so what was the reason then? I'm sorry if I'm being nosy I guess I just feel a little lost. Last time we spoke you too were just fine."

Louis takes a deep breath. "Teagan and I had sex."

"What? Y-you just said— You cheated on Shawn with Teagan?" I ask, shocked by his words.

"No, no. This was before me and Shawn got back together. Hell it was before Teagan even met Payton's father."

"I'm confused, why is that the reason you two broke up? I thought Shawn loved Teagan and Payton."

"It's kind of hard to explain but basically Teagan and I blacked out drunk one night and ended up having sex. But we didn't really remember it until someone from her school told Teagan about it a few months ago. I thought it was kinda funny to be honest, and of course I told Shawn. The thing is, he's already really insecure about me being pansexual and that just sort of made things harder for him," he explains.

"What'd he say?" I ask.

Louis sighs, "he wanted me to kick Payton and Teagan out of the house. I get it okay, I do. I get where he was coming from. But Teagans my best friend, yknow. And Payton's my god daughter. I love her like she's my actual kid. I wouldn't do that to them, not for anything. Certainly not for Shawn's ego."
