The next morning, I woke up to an empty bed. I get up and look for Alexis and the kids. I finally found them in the kitchen. Alexandria was eating pancakes, bacon and hash browns. Alexis was feeding Alex a bottle while eating her own plate of food. She looked up and saw me. "Good morning, I made breakfast. The rest of the food is in the microwave." I smile and said thank you while reheating the food. After breakfast, we got ready and headed to the precinct. Once we reached there, I helped Alexis the kids out and into the building. After we settled in, Elliot said that Melinda needs to talk to us. I tell Alexis that we'll be right back and she nods. Elliot takes my hand and we walk downstairs.
