Thunder lightings were cutting the sky above. Dark clouds crushing and crumble making heavy rain. It's a cold night and big clock on the city hall just strikes midnight.

He was moving fast, his steps were light and firm. No wind, no rain could stop him. He Jumps from one rooftop to another barely touching the ground. Dressed all in black, wearing long coat almost like a shadow moving in his unstoppable steps. Who can dare to stop him? Who will get the courage to stand in front of him?

Another jump and he is closer to his pray. Breathing in and out his bloodstream rushed faster, moving and pushing more blood to veins, supplying his whole body with oxygen.Soon in front of him was a big building-city library and right there around the corner a small old building of a ballet school. He sensed his pray there hiding somewhere. Chasing some soldiers of an opposite clan led him right there. He had his demonic form, raging anger inside of him made his eyes glowing red. Soldiers were hiding well covering their scent and deleting traces. Those must've been first ranked ones. Only them was hard to catch but not for him. He was good at it. No, he was the best at it.

While he was looking around, scanning every corner of that little street, with the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of something white. But that something was a human, not a demon-soldier and to be more precise a girl. His biggest mistake was turning his head in that direction. Through the window, he saw the practice room of a ballet school. Many girls were gathered forming a circle and just one stood in the middle. She was wearing leggings and a fluffy white skirt. Her movements were smooth, well controlled, amazing. The dark creature watched her only for a moment but that moment for him lasted like an eternity. Every single move, every single breath she took stayed in his mind engraved. He was mesmerized, enchanted, lost. Her figure was well formed, not tall but not too short either. Long legs with beautifully formed muscles, her foot small, her hands thin with long fingers and the way she was holding them seemed like a dance on its own. She had a long neck and silky hair wrapped in a messy bun with few hair strands around her lovely face. And her eyes... He couldn't look away from them ones he caught their dark color and the expression in them. So much passion, so much determination, love, ambition..all that and much more. He could look into them for ages and still discover more and more. That girl was like a treasure box: The more you dig inside, the more beautiful things you can find in it.

She finished her dance crossing her arms in front and most real head like she was bowing. Other girls were applauding, amazed. She lifted her head like she just woke up from a beautiful dream and looked through the window. He felt like something hit him deep inside, shook him all, leaving him breathless. It was like she looked into his soul, the soul he didn't have, the soul he sold a long time ago to save his family. But that was an old story, forgotten and covered with the dust and dirt. His new life was walking through the dark paths, dealing with monsters like himself, chasing, taking their demonic souls, feeding on them. He was a hunter and he better get back on that path right now and stops staring in that weak human being, in that fluffy creature in white, in that beauty queen who would have taken his heart a long time ago when he was still an ordinary boy...His eyes closed for a moment missing the door opening between two worlds. Two soldiers, he was chasing, just escaped without him noticing. That girl made him lose his guard and become sloppy.

Realizing that he frowned and his eyes glowed red full of anger. He could crush her, just one move and her spine would snap. He was coming closer ready to jump through the window, smashing the glass on his way but something stopped him in a halfway. She was now there alone sitting on the floor crying. Lights were off, only one small lamp lighting up her curled body shaken by sobs. He didn't know what could have happened while he was looking for those soldiers. But there she was crying like her soul wanted to apart from her body. Long fingers squeezed some paper so desperately. His head tilted- What is on that paper?-eyes shrunk scanning- it was a letter but he couldn't see what was written. This whole situation with her now intrigued him.
