The Sea Creature >Jinhwan<

The night was warm and silent, only filled with a distant sound of sea waves.Jinhwan was walking slowly holding hands in his pockets.He loved this night walks and he loved this silence.It reminded him of underwater silence.

This small town fitted his personality perfectly, and the woods gave shelter from unwanted looks.He was avoiding people as much as he could talk to them only if it was necessary.

He came here a few years ago by himself.Jinhwan didn't have any friends nor he needed them.Involving others in his life would be unnecessary.But he wasn't lonely because of that.Sometimes he would enjoy music or just sing sitting on the small beach near his house, or just walk through the woods covered by darkness like he did now.

The moon was high in the sky half hidden beyond the clouds

-It will rain tomorrow-he said quietly and smiled.The rain was his second favor weather, first was fog! Others would think that he is a strange or melancholic person but that was not the truth.He was quite cheerful and amusing.well, that would be the case if you get to know him better, which usually he doesn't allow.

Jinhwan doesn't need friends, he likes to live simple and modest life.Others just make our lives complicated and in the end, someone would be hurt.

The path he was walking on waved through the woods and even it was dark he was able to see well.The smell of pine trees was filling his nostrils and he would inhale gladly that aromatic smell smiling.Nature is so wonderful, full of beauty and he was grateful for having this opportunity to enjoy in one part of it.

Quietly he started humming some melody which it was stuck in his head.He heard it a few days ago when he was in town. It came from an open window from one of the houses he was passing by.Somebody played piano and melody was unknown but so emotional, filled with high and deep tones imitation heartbeats.well, he imagined it like that because that melody reminded him of his own heartbeats.It was a strange feeling and strange thought but he stood there for a moment listening carefully, mesmerized by it.But suddenly player stopped which disappointed him.He wanted more!Then he shrugs and wanted to leave when quiet sobs came to his sensitive ears.

The sound of it was full of desperation and he felt the ticklish feeling in his eyes before a tear rolled down his cheek.Quickly he whipped of ashamed of his sudden reaction and hurried back to his home. It wasn't his problem, whoever it is had to deal with it on its own.Those quiet sobs haunted him for days so he thought about it while he was humming that melody.

Who was the person behind that piano?He thought it was a girl but he couldn't be sure.

Jinhwan shook his head frowning

-It's not my problem-he reminded himself exiting the woods and heading back to his home.The moon was hidden now behind the clouds and on the lower parts of the ground, fog started to form.

Soon weather is going to change.It was the end of the summer and warm nights will disappear replaced by cold and rain.

His home was on the other side, not far away from the sea sure.He was heading to the old bridge who is been there for centuries, connecting land separated by the sea.Built from the stone of a local quarry, standing there proudly, but a bit deserted.People avoided that old bridge because of some old story.It was a small town urban legend.Apparently, two lovers drowned there by jumping from that bridge in a desperation.Their parents were against their love and they found a solution in such dramatic act.Whether it was the truth or just that-an urban legend, that place wasn't one of the favorite ones.

Jinhwan hated bridges but it was necessary to use this one.Now fog was rolling above water surface hiding it completely.He speeds up knowing how fogs here spread fast filling this particular place and making it hart for walking.
