-Don't come any closer!-she warned unknown boy jumping out of her bed and holding her pocket knife pointed at him. Her heart was pounding.

Who is he? And when did he come? Then her eyes landed on his wounded leg making her scrunch eyebrows in a confusion.

The boy lifted his body in a halfway spreading one hand

-Please don't be afraid...I will not hurt you- his voice was melodic and his eyes wide open.

-Who are you?-she cut him

-I'm the wolf you saved...

His words were left to hang there in silence. She was shook, never expecting that kind of an answer.

-That is not possible...-she whispered in disbelief still looking at his leg wrapped in her handmade bandage.

-If you please would bring me some clothes I would leave you...and you won't see me again.

She put her knife down

-You can't walk like that-she said quietly and notice how his body was shaking. He seemed to have a fever because his cheeks were red and his eyes glassy. Taima came closer and kneel in front of him. They looked at each other's eyes."Sadness" was inside his and "realization" in hers.

Sometimes things could not be explained easily and she learned the truth in that just by that moment. Slowly her palm touched his forehead while he closed his eyes. It was burning.

-You better lay down.

He shook his head looking at her.

-I will leave if you bring me my clothes...if you follow that creek near the place you find me, you will find a cave. I have some clothes there...

Her eyes looked lower. His bare chest half covered with her coat, his strong arms holding it and long legs. He had no clothes on him and she blushed realizing that finally.

-Ah...I...I will bring it.-quickly she left and following his instructions found his cave.

It was quite small but inside was cozy and kinda pretty. He had one table, one chair, and a bed. On the stone cave wall was attached bookshelf with lots of books on it sorted by sizes. She came closer reading some of the titles, surprised at his taste most of them were poetry.

Looking around, Taima found his backpack and clothes by the bed. She took some of it and put inside. While she was packing something fell on the ground by her legs. She picked up finding his notebook.

Inside were handwritten poetry, some drawings and an old family picture. She notices that little boy on it looked like him -It must be his family.

Her fingers turned the pages in curiosity. She was not the kind who would sniff into someone's personal property but this boy was a real mystery and she couldn't help it.

On the last page, she notices some drawing.

A girl whit a bow and arrow -That girl was her!

Taima closed the notebook quickly with so many questions buzzing in her head and returned to the cave where he was.

She found him sleeping while his body was burning with temperature. In his cave she found a blanket and some dry herbs, so she brought them too. She used a blanket to cover him and add more wood on a fire. His body was shaking and she didn't know what to do. It was middle of a night and she couldn't go back in her village to find a doctor. And even if she could, how to explain this situation? Was he really a wolf? What kind of magic was that? Then she remembered his drawings and took the notebook she brought with her.
