Browneyed girl with gold in her hair stood at the door smiling at the old lady.
-Babushka! -her voice was like a silk and slipped through the air so smoothly.
She entered inside carrying a bag from which rolls of paper stuck out.
-Ah, Mina! Come, come -old lady stood up hugging her.Yunhyeong watched the scene
not taking his eyes off of the girl.
In one moment she averted her eyes towards him, her eyebrows scrunched and she pulled away
from a hug standing there awkwardly.
The old lady pointed at Yunhyeong smiling-This boy helped me to reach my glass cleaner which I dropped so clumsily.He even washed upper windows for me.
-But...-she looked at him-I don't even know your name.- He stood up too
-Song Yunhyeong-he said bowing.Lady smiled
-My name is SunMin and this is my Mina.She came last years an exchange student all the way from Russia can you believe that?
A young boy was smiling standing awkwardly and not really knowing what to do with his hands.Should he shake hands with her or not?So finally he reached out his hand and with a little hesitation, she put hers.Yunhyeong felt her warmness, her hand was small with thin bones and soft skin but it fit perfectly in his.Her cheeks turned red meeting his look and she pulled the hand back.
-Mina is so talented girl, she can make wonders-Lady SunMin was praising stroking her long hair-She live in my neighborhood but we see each other every day..don't we?- Mina nodded smiling at her
-Yes, babushka.-She had a strong accent but it sounded cute.Her personality seemed bright and dear but she was quite shy.
-I like your drawing so much, the orchids look so realistic-he said.
a smile broke upon her face lighting it up.Her smile was so beautiful and Yunhyeong felt strong heart beats in his chest
-Yes, I love orchids, and I wish to see them growing in wild someday..Too bad we don't have them in Russia.
-I know where can you see one rare orchid, it grows deep in the forest-he said hoping that she would say "yes", but those thoughts only confused him.Why suddenly he cares so much about that girl?
His eyes inspected every part of her face trying to figure that.Her brown eyes would shine whenever she talked about something she likes widening them so innocently followed by hands gestures of which she wasn't aware of.Her skin was white almost see-through, so delicate and smooth but when she met his eyes her cheeks turned velvet red like a blood on the snow.-Yunhyeong shook his head-what a terrible way to compare girls beauty but that thought stayed in his mind like a bad omen leaving him restless and....scared?
"Blood on the snow" echoed inside his head.Quickly he forced himself to smile encouraging her to answer.
-I know well paths through the woods so you don't need to worry and you can bring some friend if you are scared to come alone...-
Mina smiled shyly -I would love to see them if that is not a big trouble for you...-she was all red hiding her eyes by avoiding his.Yunhyeong smiled brightly and lady SunMin claps her hands in excitement
-What a nice suggestion Yunhyeongh-ah she really should see them.I remember the day when I first saw them, my late husband took me there...I have such sweet memories of that day-she left a sigh and two young people looked at each other laughing in secret because the old lady had such comical expression.
