"Charity Ball" was written across the wall right above the flat screen where everybody could see the presentation of targeted institutions for this years charity auction. There were named children's orphanages, red cross organizations and animal shelters. They all needed help and the people gathered here were in power to help them. But this charity was more of a parade of showing up how much power you got or how richer you have become since last year.
The richest people in Seoul gathered here to see and be seen by the public. That was the perfect time to show your newest diamond necklace or platinum bracelet. Every man wore his most expensive golden watch and diamond pin on his necktie, holding Cuban cigarettes, sending sparkling lights from their golden rings. They would complete among themselves with the clothes they wore and women used every chance to parade in front of the cameras with their astronomically expensive dresses.
Among all those cocky people nobody paid attention to a young man casually leaning on the wall close to the entrance door, holding a crystal glass between his long fingers. His eyes, without much interest, was looking across the hall but that was just an act. In fact, his eyes were scanning every single person in that room, collecting the information he needed. He didn't care about the charity, but of course, he would donate some amount just to blend better there, not that blending ever was a problem for him anyway. He had that confident attitude and the charismatic aura around him that people would easily believe whatever he wanted to serve them.

His perfectly suited black suit and a white shirt were like a second skin to him over his muscled body. His platinum blond hair only added more hotness on already perfect picture. Young ladies were passing by him with interest in their looks, sending him small smiles and he would lift his glass for some of them followed by his lazy smile. But his eyes would notice more than their beauty, all he saw was the sparkling rocks on their necks or dangling from their ears. For everybody here, he was just some rich newcomer but the truth was far from it and tonight he came there for a reason. And that reason just showed on the entrance followed by flashing lights from the cameras turned in her way.
