Bella stayed with Lucy for a little while longer, actually a little longer than she meant to. She looked over at the clock in her room and it was 9:34, I guess she didn't realize she stayed with her that long. I looked down at Lucy and she was sound asleep. Bella tucked her into bed, turned off her light and closed her door. She walked quietly down stairs to the basement to find Josh sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone. Once Josh saw her, he jumped and put his phone away. "How did it go?" he asked. "Good, we're on the same page, she's okay with it now, I think, she's more okay with it now at least. She's asleep now" she answered. "That's good." he answered. "Well, I'm going to go upstairs. You know where my room is if you need me" he added. He turned around and started walking upstairs. "Josh!" she called out. "Yeah?' he asked. "Thanks" she said. He smiled and said good night before going upstairs.
Bella could't sleep that night, I stayed up with her looking through all the texts I ever sent her, all the photo's we've take together, all the videos we've made. She scrolled all the way up to our first conversation over text. I complimented her dancing, she did a routine for the talent show in grade 4 and I went up to her afterward and congratulated her and we exchanged numbers.

"She was always so kind, even when she didn't know me very well she was so welcoming and kind." whispered Bella. She turned off her phone and got read for bed. She put on my plaid pajama bottoms and a white v-neck. Bella brushed out her hair, washed her face and brushed her teeth before crawling under the covers and falling asleep.
The next morning Bella woke up quite late, she reached for my phone and saw it was 11:27 am. I saw Josh texted her.
Josh: Told my parents you were home schooled, they leave for work at 8:00 am and come back at 5:30 pm, you've got the house to yourself, I'll be home at the latest 3:00 pm, I'll text you if anything comes up. Have a good day, stay out of trouble.
Bella put my phone away and got out of bed. She picked out an outfit for the day, grey sweatpants and a burgundy t-shirt crop top. Then, Bella went to the bathroom and brushed out her hair and just let her wavy hair down all day, she put on some makeup which consist of foundation, concealer, powder, blush, mascara and a nude lipstick. Bella went upstairs to eat some breakfast, she noticed a note on the table.
Hey Bella, there are some waffles in the freezer if you want. Help yourself to anything through out the day

Bella read the note and walked over to the freezer and grabbed three waffles, she puts them in the toaster. Once they popped out she grabbed a plate and added fruit and syrup. Then she brought the plate downstairs to eat. I was guessing nothing was going to happen here for a while so went to my high school to see how everyone was doing. Everything seemed normal from what I could see. I went over to Ivy's class and she had a script in front of her. She was reviewing lines. I forgot about her show. Ivy loves theater and she recently auditioned for a high end company that does plays and musicals in our area, she went out to audition for Beauty and the Beast and landed the role of Belle. She has shows all this week, the first one is tonight. Ivy was wearing black leggings, a white crop top and a jean jacket and her hair is put up into a ponytail. I watched her all day, followed her to the remaining of her classes and hoped into the car with her to go to the theater for her to get ready.
Ivy watched into the lobby of the theater with a smile on her face, she loves preforming. "Blake!" she said running up to her friend, Blake is Ivy's age with bleach blonde hair that is strait, blue eyes and silver braces. She's wearing a black high-waisted skirt and a burgundy tight t-shirt that is tucked into her skirt. Ivy ran up to her and hugged her "You excited?" she asked "its our first show!" "I'm super excited" answered Blake. They ran back stage together and my mom walked out of the theater, she has a few hours before the show, they have to get ready and then they have a dress rehearsal. So, since I had a few hours a went to Josh's house. He should be home soon. It's 3:24 so let's see what Bella has been doing all day. When I walked into his house, I didn't hear any movement. So I went to the basement to see if Bella was there. I found her looking through a shoe box, I guess she found it in the closet or something. She looked shocked, and she jumped when Josh ran downstairs. "Hey Bella, what did you do all day?" he asked looking at her. When he saw what she was looking at his eyes went wide. She looked up at him, tears in her eyes. "Where did you find that?" he asked. "It was in the closet" she said. She looked at the paper again and looked up at him. "Is this what I think it is?" she asked "Your rehearsal speech to propose to Hazel?" she asked. I looked at him, he was going to propose? "Yeah" he said. "When were you gonna do it?" she asked. "Graduation" he answered. "And is this envelope full of your savings for a ring?" she asked. "Yeah, I was 50 dollars away from purchasing the ring" he answered. Tears started rolling down her cheeks, "I ruined everything" she whispered. "She would've said yes, she loved you, and a ruined it". "Bella..." started Josh, Bella stood up and ran out of the house. She ran to the woods and sat by the stream again. She cried for a while and then just sat a thought for a while. Josh wanted to marry me... he loved me. I was so happy, but that wasn't going to happen anymore. I went back to Josh's house to check the time, the show started in 45 minutes.. I went over to my house and saw everyone was getting ready. My dad had a dress shirt and dress pants on, my mom had a navy blue dress on and she had pined the from sections of her hair back, and Dawn had a soft pink dress on and she curled her hair. She looked beautiful. I went to the theater to see how Ivy was doing. I went into the change room and saw her finishing up curling her hair. She was wearing a white long sleeve which she folded the sleeves back to just above her elbow, she had a blue dress on with tank top straps and she had a white apron on, belle's village outfit, and she had her black jazz shoes on. She had finished her makeup already, she had put foundation, concealer and tons of powder, to make sure the lights don't make her look shiny, she had a bit of brown eye shadow on her lids and she put some simple black eyeliner on her upper and lower lash line and she put some white eyeliner on her waterline to make her eyes pop, she had some blush and bronzer on, she had fake lashes on and mascara on her bottom lashes, and to finish off the the look, she had a nude pink colour on her lips. When she finished curling her hair, she put her hair on a low ponytail and tied a blue bow around the elastic to hide the elastic. She looked perfect. I noticed she was sharing a dressing room with the main girls of the production, on the door there where multiple starts, each saying a name and a character, there was Ivy Williams as Belle, Blake Hall as Mrs Potts, Lizzy Reid as Babette and Emily Birch as Madame de la Grande Bouche. The main female characters. I noticed on a rack, there was a beautiful yellow dress, it must be belles dress. I can't wait to see her wear it. They called called The beast and Bella to get mics so I followed them to the stage where they got the mics taped to their face and down their neck, and they had to do a couple lines each and sing a part of a song. "Can we start?" she asked. "Go ahead" said someone over the speaker.
"I won't leave you" said Ivy. "Who goes there?" said the beast. I couldn't tell who it was because he had a mask on. "Who's there? Who are you" she said. "The master of this castle of course" he said. "I've come for my father, please let him go! Can't you see he's sick?" "Then he shouldn't have trespassed here", "But he could die, please, I'll do anything, just let him go!", "There's nothing you can do, he's my prisoner" , "There must be some way I can... wait! You can take me instead!", "You would take his place?". Someone came over the speaker and told them that was fine, then Ivy had to sing part of a song, she cleared her throat and sang... "Oh, isn't this amazing, It's my fav'rite part because --- you'll see, Here's where she meets Prince Charming, But she won't discover that it's him 'Til chapter three!" she sang, her voice was so beautiful. The beast sang a verse as well and then they were sent off and they waited for the show to begin.
