REALITY- a goofed up nightmare ( nanowrimo13)

It was Sunday morning now.

Taani had been sleeping in my tent, and Kavya woke up early to wake her and be the first one to wish her.

We all were in the boy's tent to wish Taani.

Kavya was waiting with a bunch of fresh flowers which he managed somehow.

We don't know how, but he would surely think why he did it.

'We sprinkled sneezing powder in the flowers.' I thought and smilled wickedly.

Payback dude.

Taani woke lazily smiling at the flowers.

But before she could take them, we all hugged her and wished her for her birthday and snehi and Akshi wished both of them for their second anniversary like the girls like to put it.

Then She took the flowers and smelled them inhaling sharply.

Two seconds and she had been sneezing  continuosly, we all startes snickering and Kavya started panicking.

We left the tent for both of them to handle.

After her sneezing had settled, they both came up for breakfast.

We had replaced the salt with white pepper.

Kavya made himself a lemon juice where instead of adding salt, he ended up addind white pepper and when he sipped in the disasterous juice, his immediate reaxtion was to spit it out.

And guess what?

The spit the drink on Taani. ** Evil laughter**

Kavya glared at us.

"What the fuck man? Why are you doing this to me?" he asked.

"Paaybaaaaack." i said in a sing song way.

He just glared furiously this time and went after Taani.

At lunch we hiked Kavya's drink with bhang, that is a herb you use to get a high.

We added a minimum amout for Kavya to talk gibberish.

That did it. Taani was so angry and upset.

We had the last thing still on role.

The gift Kavya got for Taani. It was some personalised gift.

We had replaced that with dried leaves.

When Kavya sobered up, he apologized Taani but she wouldn't budge.

He gave her the gift he had got.

We all burst up laughing, so probably Kavya got the hint that it was some prank again.

He left the tent and sat on the bench besides.

He had his head in his hand. He looked sad.Maybe we went over the board. I felt sad for him.

But before i could say sorry or promise to make it up for that, Taani came up running out excitedly.

She went and kissed Kavya with so much paasion and love. I felt like intruding the scene.

I looked away a little uncomfortable.

Hey! that was my little sister amd best friend making out. How am i suppose to be cool about it.

"What was that for?" Kavya asked surprisingly.

"For this stupid." Taani showed him the ring she was talking about.

Kavya immediately looked up for Akshi.

And gestured a thank you.

Why wasn't Taani angry about the dried leaves?

"What is going on?" i asked Akshi and the other two also waiting for her answer.

She slipped her arms around my waist an

"Before the trip, Kavya asked me to help him out with the gft for Taani. He loves her, loves her truely and wanted to propose her. I know its too early, but he was sure he wanted to ask her.

So we went to this jewellery shop where we both like this ring. So we decided to biy it, but then we came to know that was very expensive and way out of budget. So he cancelled that idea and we got that personalised box.

But i knew Taani would be very happy because sh ehappen to slip that she wanted to marry him one day." Akshi answered.

"That still doesn't explain how you got the ring and why you changed that prank." Takshil said a little rudely.

i gave him a scary look but it didn't affect him. I didn't like people taking to Akshi that way, no matter even if he is my best friend.

"Let me finish dude." Akshi laughed.

"I went to the mall the next day and bought that ring. I had enough amount saved. So i used it for them. And coming back to your prank Takshil, I haven't changed anything. I just slipped the ring with those dried leaves. When she got angry with the gift, she threw the box and saw the ring. So your plan was a success. Taani did get wild at the gift. And guys we went a little over the limit. We were just teasing them, this could lead up to a huge mess if we didn't handle them well." she said the last part with so much maturity.

"You did that for my sister? i mean you spend all your saving on them?" I asked her with a proud smile.

"I did that for our friends, and i had a lot of money saved, you never let me spend on anything, so all my pocket money it saved." she answered simply.

And i kissed her, with so much pride and passion.

"I love you dodo" i said aloud.

"I love you too hippie." she replied smiling.
