During the following two weeks I had several persons working for me. I figured that the killer had murdered at least once before and we just had to find a likely suspect. This little search parade consisted of searching all police records, hospitals deaths and all of the funeral homes for a females victim who died in a perfectly natural way.
The trick to it was that the killer executed it perfectly as to not raise any eyebrows. The men I had commissioned searched the last six months of each database.
Detective Sutherland and I had the gruesome task of sorting through each case file that was brought to us. We barely managed to run through even ten per day as a lot of paperwork is required. Phone calls were made to the relatives of the deceased, even I resorted to grabbing a note pad and scribbling down information that I thought was important.
By day 11 we were all exhausted but I pursued the cause. When the whole six month's case files were completed the search was narrowed down to three lucky females. Unfortunately for them, they were all deceased.
Elizabeth Ronin was an old lady who died of cholesterol problems. The doctors at her retirement home found her unconscious and provided medical help. She was long gone but her medical history showed her having little built up of cholesterol so I had crossed her off the list.
The other lady was a 27 year old scientist who died of a drug produce by the leaves of a very deadly plant. It killed her within hours of her coming in contact with it. Her records indicated she was never experimenting with the flowers in anyways and no one had signed a collection document for the specimen.
The last person died in a very disturbing way. She was hit by a speeding car in the dead of the night. The girl who was as drunk as an Irish man sauntered on the road where she met her fatal end. The man dragged her body into an alleyway but CCTV cameras in the area caught the whole thing. The guy was never caught. The car was found abandoned off the highway. Apparently he skipped town.
I ruled out the old lady as her age didn't come close to any of our previous victims. I gave Patrick the case file of the scientist while I went to speak to the family of the hit and run victim.

The man stood outside of the Park Washington Club where his next victim would appear shortly. A lady dressed in a suit tailored to fit her strode in.
The shutter closed and open very quickly as the camera flash went off.
Dinner at five every Saturday Angelina? Bad habits die hard.
The creep inwardly smiled.Another bright flash.
He knew what a complete bitch she could be. Probably going to give the waiters hell.
The last shutter click before the female disappeared inside the diner.
If anyone asked he was a photographer. There isn't any crime in taking pictures.
Oh no, that wasn't the crime here.

Before I was halfway along my way to the former home of the hit and run victim I got a call from Patrick.
"You wouldn't believe what I just found," his voice was seasoned with excitement.
"Try me," I said.
"All I can say is you should get down here right now." By 'here' Patrick meant the Bart Scientific Research Facility.
I spun the car in the road after checking to make sure I was not going to impede anyone.
"I'm on my way."
