38) The Bracelet

I go back towards my room and retrieve Jess. She's on my bed with her legs crossed and she's fiddling with something in her hands. She notices I walk in the room and jumps slightly, sorta hiding the thing.
"..oh hey haha" she giggled. I give a slight smile. The way she giggles is absolutely adorable.
"What were you playing with?" I ask. She looks back in her hands.
"Come here" patting down beside her. I tilt my head, raise an eyebrow and walk over slowly
"Baby don't be scared haha." She laughs. I walk a little faster. I wasn't scared I was just slightly confused. I sit down next to her.
"Now close your eyes." She says softly with a smirk. I close my eyes with a laugh
"Okay okay... finee" I roll my eyes. Not that you could see them. I feel her warm, soft hands going around my wrist. It made me smile and it sort of tickled.
"Now open!" She laughed. I open my eyes to see Jess with her hands over her mouth hiding her smile. Looking down I see something on my wrist. A bracelet. It was my favourite colours. Black and blue. Black because why the hell not. And blue because that's the colour of jess's eyes. I can never see blue the same way again.
"See this thing? Open it" she pointed to a little slip where some paper lies and a photo of us. It was my favourite photo of us. I opened up the paper and started reading
"Dreams do come true. How do I know? Because i found you." I whispered. I looked up to Jess and I was just about to speak when Jess opened her mouth
"I may never be good at knowing what to say, but I know I love you and I would use my last breath to tell you that." She held my hands and looked me in the eye. I pull her in for a hug
"I love you more" I say. And pull her in for a kiss. But again. Just before I could I heard screaming from the other room
