Chapter 5

"What the hell?" I said.
"You did it!" Megan said "MOM!"
"Yea sweety?" Jen said.
"Come here and help us!" Meg said.

Jen came running and she called Zach down to help us. We drove to the hospital because Jen think that my ankle is broke and Megan's foot is sprained. The wait for a doctor was horrible.

"Hmm. I'm hungry." I said.
"Do you want me to get you something? Zach asked.
"I'll just go with you." I said.

I got up and hopped on one leg.

"Do you want me to get you a wheel chair?" Zach asked me.
"Sure, thanks." I said.

He walked over to the nurse and asked if I could have a wheel chair. She handed him the wheelchair and a piece of paper.

Slut.

Zach brought it over and I sat down

"What are you going to do with the number?" I asked.
"Throw if away. There's only one girl for me." He said. (A/N: I had a little smile on my face when I typed that.)

I blushed and he pushed me to the cafeteria. They had a Wendy's there so I got some.

I ate my food as he pushed me back.

We got back to the waiting room and as soon as I sat on the couch and Zach put the wheelchair back the nurse called is in.

"So, which one is Lilly?" The nurse asked.
"I am." I said.
"I'm sorry, but I can't give you any X-rays or a check up unless you have you biological mother or father here." She said.
"What? My mother is a drunk and my father is at who knows where!" I said.
"Well unless this lady here is your guardian or adoptive mother then I don't know what to tell you. You're under age honey." The nurse said.
"Ugh. Fine. I'll just call my mom to see if she's sober." I said pulling out my phone.

I called her but no answer.

"Shit." I said.
"What?" Megan said.
"No answer." I said.
"What about your dad?" She asked.

I shrugged. I dialed his number and he answered. He just said that he will come by and help me out.

My dad arrived and I got my ankle checked out.

"I'm sorry... but it's broken." The nurse that gave Zach the number said.
"What!? No! I have a scholarship to Ashland to play soccer and to become a band teacher! I could lose it!" I said upset.
"You had a scholarship?" Megan asked.
"Yea! If you would pay attention to me instead of talking about Keaton all the time then maybe you would know more about me!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry....." Megan said sad.
"It's too late for sorrys. I'm just upset. My mother is a drunk. My dad only comes around for time likes this. My best friend only cares about her boyfriend. My scholarship is over. What else could go wrong?" I yelled.
"Umm.. I fought your mother in court for custody over you... I won." Dad said.
"WHAT?!?! I DONT WANT TO LIVE IN AKRON (A place in Ohio for y'all non ohio folks.). I WANT TO LIVE HERE IN COLUMBUS. (Also an Ohio city.) I HATE YOU AND MOM. IT SHOULD BE MY CHOICE. IM OVER 13. IM 17 YEARS OLD. I DONT WANT TO LIVE WITH YOU. I WANT TO LIVE WITH JEN, MEGAN, AND ZACH. ATLEAST THEY CARE ABOUT ME." I yelled.

He just stopped. He had a very shocked look on his face like he just saw me kill someone. The nurse was the same way. Dad walked out of the room as I cried.

"Honey..." I heard someone say.

I turned around and saw my mom.

"Don't talk to me." I said.
"Honey, please." she trailed off.
