Chapter 18

Chapter 18:

We were gathering Zach's stuff to go home. We walked out to the car and drove off.

We arrived at the house. We got out and went inside. "Mom, can you take me out?" Zach asked.
"For what?" Jen asked.
"I have to get Lilly a Christmas present." Zach whispered.
"Yea. Sure. Come on. Get your coat."
"Okay."

I walked upstairs to Megan's room. "Hey Meg? Do you want to go with me to Dick's to get Zach a Christmas present?" I asked.
"Yea." She said and got up.

We went to Dick's and I got Zach a pair of Nike shoes and the new bat he has been wanting for baseball.

I wrapped them and hid them under my bed. Zach came home and hid something under his bed.

It was around 9 and Zach was already in his bed so I snuck down stairs and places his presents under the tree. I went back upstairs and crawled into bed with Zach.

He kissed my forehead. "I love you, beautiful. Good night." He said.
"I love you." I said and closed my eyes.

I woke up to the smell of bacon. "BACON!" I yelled and ran out of bed. I went down stairs and I looked under the tree. There was a lot of presents. "Damn." I said to myself.

"Morning, Jen!" I said as I ate a piece of bacon.
"Morning, sweetie." Jen said. "Make your plate. Megan and Zach should be up soon." She added.
"When I got up Zach wasn't in the bed." I said.
"Maybe he's in the bathroom?" She asked.
"I don't know. Maybe."

Zach and Megan walked down stairs as I was making my plate. "Jen? What's this second plate of bacon for?" I asked.
"It's for you." She said.
"Really?!"

She nodded her head. "Thanks!!" I said pilling it all on my plate. She made pancakes instead of French toast today! No! I put one pancake on my plate then eggs. I walked to the table and sat down my Zach.

"Oh is that mine?" Zach asked.
"Hell no it ain't yours. See all that bacon? ITS MINE." I said.

He then reached his hand over to my plate and grabbed a piece of bacon. "Boy, you just made the worst decision of your life." I said and hit him in the arm and reached but his mouth to get my bacon but he put it all in his mouth.

"Jen!!!! Zach ate my bacon!!!!" I said like a little kid.
"Zach... Really?" She asked.
"It was just one piece!" Zach exclaimed.
"You owe me. Cough it up." I said. He handed me a piece of bacon.
"Thank you." I said sweetly.

"So, where did Jeff go?" I asked with my mouth full.
"Back with his dad." Jen said.
"Oh." Is all I could say.

After everybody got done eating we went into the living room and started to open presents. Jen got me a couple Tom Hiddleston phone cases with Loki head phones. I love them. Megan got me a Loki comforter and pillow cases with his face on them. I really love them too.

Zach handed me a box. "Open that last." He said to me and handed me another box.

I opened the other box and just started to bawl my eyes out. It was a big picture frame of a collage of us. All the pictures we have ever taken and the movie ticket from where we first kissed. "Thank you. I love it." I said still crying. I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Open this one first." I said referring to the shoes. He opened them and thanked me. He then tells me that he wants me to open the other present last. After everybody. He opened the bat and started jumping around like a little kid. "THANK YOU!" He yelled and have me a kiss.

"You're welcome." I said.
"Now, open this." He said pointing the the box.

I opened it and it was gorgeous. I started to cry again. "Why do you ways make me cry?" I asked hitting his arm.
"Show everybody." He said.

I got up and showed Megan and Jen. It was a necklace with our date. 8-26-13. With a heart. "What's the date got to do with anything?" Megan asked.
"It's our date." I said. She shook her head. I put the necklace on.
"I love it. Thank you." I said.
"You're welcome."

We cleaned up the living room and did nothing all day. We just watched the Christmas story all day. Jen made a big Christmas feast and it was delicious.

Around 10 we all went to bed. "Good night. I love you." I said to Zach.
"I love you." He said kissing my forehead.

Yay!! I think I'm going to end the story soon.. I don't know. But I'll let you know.
