Chapter 1:



Ugh. School. First day if junior year. Why? I just want it to be over.

I get out of bed and hop in the shower. I turn on the hot water and wash. I began to think about how it's going to be today and I ended up being done sooner than I though. I jump out, wrap a towel around me and began to run to my room since it's cold after you get out if the shower.

I rushed to my closet I opened the door and yelled "FOR NARNIA!" I ran into the wall so I guess Narnia doesn't want me today... Dumb lion.

I pick out some skinny jeans and my 'Annie' shirt from last year. Yea! That's right, I was in the play! I pick out my black Vans and put them on.

I walk to my vanity and began to blow dry my long hair. After I got done I straightened it and put some makeup on. I walked down the stairs to fine no one home. Did I mention my mom was a drunk? Well she is and is never home. When she's home she's always drunk and mad at me, that's why I go to my best friends house.

I walked out the door to my Slug Bug and got in. See, when my mom is sober she spoils me.

I arrived at school and went to park in my number 10 spot but no. Someone parked there. Who the hell does that person think they are? The guy I like? Pst. I don't think so. Just then he got out. Zach. Ugh. I've been in love with him ever since Megan (My best friend) and I were friends. Did I mention they are brother and sister? I didn't? Well, you know now.

I parked in the spot next to mine since his gorgeous face is there and got out.

"Zach!" I yelled.
"Lilly!" he yelled back.

I ran up to him and he hugged me. Man, I wish this moment would last forever.

"How have you been?" I paused. "I haven't seen you all summer." I finished.
"I've been good. I broke up with Morgan though." He said.
"Why?" I asked.
"I'm in love with this other girl, you see. I've known her for sometime now." He said.
"Oh." I said disappointed.
"Let me see your schedule." He said.

I handed him my schedule an he had the biggest smile on his face.

"We have all the same classes! Even band and choir!" Zach said.
"You have the symphonic choir too?" I asked.

He shook his head 'yes' and put his arm around me. SCORE!

"LILLY!" I heard someone yell.

I turned my head to fine Megan. Shit. She's gonna ruin the precious moment.

"Hi!" I said sarcasticly.
"Oh, hi Zach. Have you seen Keaton?" She asked.
I shook my head no and said see you during lunch.
