I was in a daze as I sat down with Katy and, surprisingly, Blake. I thought he would be with the friends he has made throughout the day but whatever floats his boat.
"They want to become friends and gave me their numbers. They say that they could hook me up with a manager if I decide to become a singer." I said, a huge smile plastered to my face
"That's so exciting!" Katy shrieked
I laughed, watching her blush as we gained the looks of the people at neighboring tables.
"My sister is going to become a pop star. Famous by association." Blake cheered
"I never even agreed yet." I giggled
"But you will." Blake snorted
"Hey, Cinderella." Chase smirked, sitting down across from me
"Fuck off, Dixon." I cussed
"Well, that's not very nice. I'm hurt." Chase pouted
"Leave my sister alone, asshole." Blake sneered
"Pretty sure she can handle herself." Chase challenged
"Blake, please don't do anything." I sighed
"Fine." Blake groaned, glaring at Chase
"Is there something you wanted? Cause if not then you need to leave." I said
"I can't come visit my favorite person?" Chase asked, sounding offended
"I think I'd prefer if you were silent. Please, go back to whatever hole you came out of and let me eat in peace." I spat
"So hostile, Cinderella. I'll see you later." Chase winked
I rolled my eyes; hating the fact that I had got myself caught up with the asshole. If I never said anything to Katy then he probably never would have spoke to me. Karma at its finest, I suppose. Lunch continued in a blur and soon we were heading to social studies.
The halls were filled with whispers and I could feel people looking at me as I passed. They weren't at all discreet about pointing towards me and it was obvious that I was in center of attention.
"Princessa!" An all too familiar voice yelled
"Alex!" I exclaimed, running towards him
I jumped into his arms, hugging the life out of him.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked, slapping his arm
"Couldn't leave my Princessa all alone, could I? I am in the midst of convincing momma bear to let me transfer here so, during free period, I decided to come visit." Alex smiled
"I have class, though. You couldn't have came last period?" I groaned
"C'mon, I'll walk you to class." Alex offered
I nodded and he placed his arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer to him. Katy was looking at me with a raised eyebrow, smirking slightly.
"Katy, this is Alex my best friend. I mentioned him earlier but without the name. I mentioned him before I stated things about Dixon." I explained, following her to class
"Oh, Mr badboy, eh?" Katy teased
"That's me." Alex laughed
"He might be transferring here." I said excitedly
"Leaving me so soon?" Katy joked
"Course not. I need a girl best friend." I smiled
"I'm assuming this is your class. I'll pick you up at dismissal so we can hang out. Bye Princessa." Alex stated, kissing my forehead
