The weekend went by too fast and I found myself on the back of Chase's bike on our way to school. People were still staring at us and murmuring. You'd think by now that they'd stop.

Even Mr. Urie muttered to himself as Chase dropped me off at his classroom. I rolled my eyes before taking my seat besides Katy.

"How's everything?" Katy asked softly

"Difficult." I frowned

"You could've stayed home today." Katy said

"Chase said the same thing but I'd feel awkward staying at his all day. Haven't been home in a while." I shrugged

"Do you want to talk?" Katy questioned

"Too afraid that I'll loose it if I do." I chuckled bitterly

The two of us were too busy talking to realize that class started. I know that I needed to focus on the work but I couldn't. Not now.

"Is there something you girls would like to share with the class?" Mr. Urie called

"Oh, look. The bitch gets caught." A feminine voice sneered. "How's Blakey doing?"

I tensed up, knowing who it was. Did she not learn her lesson already? I stood up abruptly, flipping the desk in front of me. Katy gasped at the action as I turned to face Stephanie. Her face still had the bruises from last time.

"Anyway, shouldn't you be suspended? I bet Blake is so proud of you!" Stephanie squealed

I stormed over to her and shoved her against the nearest wall. All I could see was red. My hand wrapped around her throat and tightened until she started scratching at my arms.

"Talk bout my brother again and I'll fucking kill you. You don't know shit about him nor will you ever." I spat. "You're just a stuck up whore that is butt hurt because someone doesn't praise the ground you walk on. Guess what, bitch? You're nothing."

I released my hold on her and watched as she crumpled to the ground, breathing heavily. My breaths were coming out in pants as I glared down at her, daring her to say something.

"You're a crazy bitch. No wonder Blake ran away." Stephanie coughed

Before I could process anything, Stephanie was holding her stomach and coughing. I pulled her up by her hair, causing her to scream. It didn't even process in my mind that Mr. Urie was on the phone.

"You're delusional, Stephanie. Real delusional to be making such assumptions." I laughed

She tried to look unfazed but the fear in her eyes betrayed her.

"I know you're scared, Stephanie. I can see it in your eyes." I smirked. "Haven't you learned to pick your battles? You knew you couldn't beat me."

My fist connected with her cheekbone before I let her go and left. I wasn't staying in that classroom. The tension in there was sky high and I already knew that I was in trouble. The intercom came on and I waited.

"Allison Gray to the office, now!"

I rolled my eyes before continuing to walk the halls.

Chase

I

stopped what I was doing. Why was she being called to the office. I ran out of the gym, ignoring the protests from the coach, roaming the halls for any sign of Cinderella. I stopped and listened. The sound of gentle steps echoed through the halls. That had to be her. But, when I found her, I stopped.

She didn't look like my Cinderella. She was seething. Her hands clenched into fists with a look in her eyes that I've never seen. There were scratch marks on her arms and they looked bad but it didn't seem to faze her. What happened?

"Cinderella?" I called gently

Her eyes snapped up to me and I couldn't say anymore. She ran over to me and buried herself into my chest. I ran my fingers through her hair and pulled her closer to me.

"What happened?" I whispered

"I fucked up." She muttered

"What do you mean?" I inquired

"She could've died." Alli replied

What?

"I almost killed her." Alli continued

Oh god, what did I miss?

"She was just so infuriating. How dare she talk about Blake? Swear I'll actually go through with it if she utters his name again." Alli threatened

"Alli, what happened?" I asked, pulling back to look at her face

"I choked her. And punched her. And kicked her. Told Stephanie not to tall about Blake and she did." Alli frowned

I sighed, trying to find a way to get her out of this mess. She's risking expulsion now. What's she supposed to do then? Her eyes widened and she must've realized something.

"Your parents are going to hate me. They'll tell me to leave and never talk to you again. They'll think I'm a terrible person." Alli rambled. "I'm not like that. I'm not my anger. I don't get that angry a lot. I don't hurt people like that. Not anymore."

My heart broke watching her panic. It wasn't even about herself. She was so upset over my parents approval and proving herself to me. I pulled her back to me and hushed her.

"My parents won't hate you. Cinderella, you have nobody to prove yourself too." I assured

"I just almost killed someone." Alli whispered

"That's not you." I promised. "That person who did that isn't the true you."

"But, what if it is?" Alli cried

"C'mon, Cinderella, we're leaving." I said

We walked in silence as we headed out. To keep things less awkward, I walked into her class to grab her things.

"Chase, what are you doing here?" Mr. Urie asked

I ignored him, making my way through the maze of desks until I reached hers. I grabbed her books and pencil. Katy looked at me, worried.

She's out in the hall. Upset and angry but okay. Don't know her punishment yet. Taking her back to mine.

I passed the paper to Katy and watched her shoulders drop in relief.

"Take care of her, okay? You know how bad it is right now." Katy frowned

Looking towards the door then back to Katy, I nodded. I'd always take care of her. I began heading out to grab Cinderella and leave but Mr. Urie stopped me.

"Chase, she needs to go to the office. You can't just take her out of school." Mr. Urie sighed

I took a deep breath and went to keep walking. My plan didn't work because soon, Mr. Urie was standing in front of me.

"Alli is a wonderful girl but what she did was uncalled for. She can't just run to you whenever she does something wrong and expect you to get her out of it." Mr. Urie ranted

The door slammed and everyone turned to face Alli.

"I liked you, yanno? But, now you're assuming crap. I'm expelled. I know my punishment cause I just talked with the principal. I accept responsibility for my actions. Don't go thinking that I have Chase solve my issues." Alli argued

"Alli-"

"Fuck off. Let's go Chase." Alli glared

I grabbed her hand and led her out of that room. The word expelled stuck with me. Expulsion was her punishment. I should've expected that but what's going to happen now?
