Neil took a step back in fear. "M-Matt?"
"I'm sorry, perhaps you didn't hear me properly," Matt- well, whatever was controlling Matt's body, apologized in a robotic tone, "Matt's not here right now."
"What- what are you? Who are you?" Neil's eyes were wide with fear, and he almost seemed to be crying.
He stood up off his stool, stretched out his arms and back, before answering, "I'm Odira. I'm one of the demons of hate and anger." He walked around in a circle around the stool. "Oh, this feels nice. It's been a while since I've been in a human body."
"Well," Brad cut in, "How about you get the fuck out of his body and give me my fucking brother back?!" He pushed the stool out of the way and gripped Odira by the shoulders.
Odira flung him halfway across the room with a simple push. Brad crashed into a chair and fell to the ground. It took him that long to register what had happened- it had taken all of two seconds for him to be pushed across the room.
"Nice try. Now, let's see... I was instructed to, umm... oh right. I'm supposed to kill you all, clear you completely from the face of the earth, and then I get to possess this body as long as I want. Nice. It's been way too long since I've been able to do anything but wander aimlessly through hell," Odira picked at his nails, bored. He crossed the room and everyone backed away from him.
"You guys are sure quiet suddenly. Usually, me telling people I'm here to kill them has instilled some kind of verbal reaction. Do you guys suddenly go mute when someone threatens to kill you?"
"Who... who gave you those... instructions?" Barry asked. He was backed away as far into the wooden chair he could go. He then finally processed that it would be safer to stand, and moved to behind the chair.
"Mhm. Like a chair is going to keep you any safer. Bright move there, Barry," Odira said sarcastically. "Anyways, it was some guy named James. He put the instructions in a black possession pill, and as soon as Matt ingested the pill, I received them mentally. Magic's a wonderful thing, ain't it?"
"Of course it was James," Neil spat.
"You guys must have a history with him. What'd you do to make him want to kill you?" Odira asked, rhetorically. He turned to Dani, who was nearly hidden behind his piano. "For the smart one I was warned may be trickier to kill, you sure are quiet. What's wrong? Never mind, don't answer that. You're probably mentally figuring out how to get yourself out of this. And maybe your friends, maybe just you. Humans can be incredibly selfish."
Dani didn't respond, but stared into Odira's black eyes. They were soulless, and reflected nearly no light: the eyes of a monster possessing the body of their friend. Even if they did manage to stop Odira, would anyone be able to bring themselves to kill him, since it meant losing Matt as well?

Gyselvia ran through the streets, ignoring the rude remarks from strangers and cutting through traffic.
I have to get there in time. I have to get there in time. I have to get there before the demon takes Matt.
She ran inside the studio building and through the halls, before reaching the band's room. She looked through the glass window on the wooden door.
Oh no.
I'm too late.
......
A/N: to get Odira's name I literally just took the latin words for hate and anger- Odi and Ira- and put them together. Anyways, I love writing Odira's part. He's so sarcastic and I love it
