Hidden Creatures

Amber stood up straight and shook her head to clear it.
"Anyway," she said, as though nothing had happened, "Hi, Habri. This is Dani, a human who brought me here after some people tried to attack me."
"Hi, Gyselvia," he replied, "That's-"
"Gyselvia?" Dani began to feel that he made a mistake trusting her again.
"It means Amber in my kind's native tongue," she explained, "I prefer it to Amber."
"Anyways," Habri continued, "It's good we found another decent human in this world, but horrible that you were nearly attacked, Gyselvia."
Habri had extremely wrinkled skin, long nails and a goblin's ears, but appeared otherwise nearly human.
"I wanted you to meet him," Gyselvia said, "He's very kind, and I've seen him in a dream..." She concentrated on trying to remember the details of the dream.
"Wait what?" Dani asked.
"Feel special. You're important to her life," Habri replied.
"Is this a book store?" Dani inspected the shelves of books.
"Yeah. A special one, I sell books about magic and the hidden creatures in this world," Habri explained.
"Can I have one on the creatures? I'd like to learn more about you guys and your species." Dani approached the desk.
"Sure. $40." Habri grabbed a leather-bound book off the shelves and handed it to Dani.
Dani gave him $40 in cash, before Gyselvia suddenly yelled, "Dani! When you leave here, I'm supposed to come with you. If I don't..." she trailed off.
"If you don't, what happens?" Dani asked.
"Something horrible," Gyselvia said shortly.
......
They arrived back at the studio a half hour late.
"Before you yell at me for being late," Dani said when he walked in the building, Gyselvia waiting outside, "Meet my new friend. She's... not human."
The band stared at him in disappointment. "You made friends with a cat? Dog? Rabbit?" Brad asked.
"Umm. No." Dani motioned for Gyselvia to enter. "This is Gyselvia."
The band was lost for words. Their expressions were all extremely confused. Neil pinched his skin to see if he was dreaming.
"Hi?" Gyselvia said, nervous, and everyone jumped in surprise and fear.
"Guys. Chill. She's friendly. I drove her to a friend's place because some assholes tried to hurt her," Dani said, in a calm voice, "She can also see the future, and well... she said if she didn't come with me something horrible would happen."
Matt was the first to speak. "Hi, Gyselvia. I'm Matt."
"I - I've seen you in a vision. I'm supposed to help prevent you from doing something horrible," Gyselvia said, somewhat shocked. Matt's face fell, and you could tell he was thinking, 'again?!'
"I'm Brad, Matt's older brother," Brad introduced himself.
"I'm Barry."
"I'm Neil."
"Matt, can I talk to you please?" Gyselvia asked, "Privately?"
"Umm... okay?" Matt replied.
The two went into a back room.
"Umm... I don't mean to sound rude, but how much do you know about me?" Matt asked.
"A bit. You're dating Neil, you're the lead vocalist of this band, and... you're losing your ability to control your anger," Gyselvia replied.
"Losing my ability to control my anger?" Matt's face paled.
"Yeah... someone gave you a black pill which made your will to control your anger weaker." Gyselvia seemed afraid.
"James," Matt stated.
"If we don't find a way to strengthen your will, something horrible will happen," Gyselvia said sadly, "Can I hold your hand for a second?"
"Umm... I guess." Matt put his hand out and Gyselvia touched it, preparing herself for the vision to come.
She could not put what she saw into a prophecy. All she could tell Matt was that he could end up hurting someone he loves.
