Chapter 5: Best Friends

Brayden's POV:

I gave the girl sitting in front if me a weird look. I thought it was weird that I didn't have a roommate but I thought surely they'd tell me if I was going to have one.

"Oh hi," I said with a fake smile.

"Hey, I'm Kaylee."

"I'm Brayden Sorry about my reaction earlier."

"Ok it's ok. I probably would have done the same thing."

She seemed like a pretty good person. I spotted a small tattoo on her wrist as she got up from the couch.

"Wow, you have a tattoo?" I asked kind of feeling weird afterwards.

"Yeah, what's the big deal?" she responded laughing.

"Nothing it's just that it looks so neat. What is it?"

"It's a bleeding rose. I got it so I will remember that no matter what struggles I face, I have to keep pushing on, no matter how painful it may be."

"Wow, that's so cool."

We kind if drifted away from the subject and kept talking about ourselves. We basically became best friends in just that short amount of time. I glanced at the time.

"Oh shit! I've got to get ready for my date!"

"Ooh a date! With who?"

"Ashton."

"The Ashton Irwin?"

"Yeah I guess."

"Oh my god! He's like the most popular guy at school!"

"Really? Then why would he ask me out?"

"He likes you!" Kaylee said teasing me.

"Whatever," I said blushing. "Help me pick out an outfit!"

We searched through the whole closet and finally found the perfect dress. It was a strapless cream colored dress. I tried it on and looked in the mirror.

"You look hot!" Kaylee exclaimed.

"Really? You think?"

"Definitely! Can I do your hair and makeup? Please!" she said using a puppy dog face.

"Fine."

She pulled me over to the mirror and began putting foundation on me. She applied some eye makeup and then curled my hair.

"Oh my God, I look great!"

"Your welcome," Kaylee said clearly proud of herself.

She did a wing eyeliner with gold eyeshadow, but not too much. It was perfect. Just as I slipped on my heels, I heard a knock at the door.

I opened the door to a happy Ashton dressed in a tux.

A/N: I know I haven't updated in around a week but here it is. I might get writers block often because I don't really have all the ideas of the story in my head. But this won't be a very long story. It should be maybe around 20 chapters or so. But yeah I hope my 7 readers are liking it so far! Love you guys!
