After the well needed chat with Mandy, I decided that I needed to clear my head and not think about Eric for a while. If he decided he wanted to come around and still be with me, then so be it, but I was over waiting and moping around while he was out lollygagging with other girls. So with that, Mandy and I decided we were going to go to the rivalry game between Rainsville and Munsford University this weekend with Stephen and Dustin. There was nothing better than getting away from everything and just having a great time, especially since two of our friends from high school went to Munsford as well.

Gathering the few essentials I needed for our weekend stay, Mandy and I packed down the car and waited for Dustin and Stephen to arrive.

"About time you showed up." Mandy sarcastically said as they came strolling through the parking lot towards the car. "Any longer and we would be missing the best part...tailgating." She gives a flirty smile and then places a swift kiss on Stephens cheek.

Stephen just rolled his eyes as he put their luggage in the trunk. Strolling to the side of the car, he opens the door and takes his place in the driver's seat. "Let's roll out!" he yelled as we all took our places in the vehicle, ready to make our two-hour journey to the other university.

After multiple restroom stops at creepy gas stations, we finally arrived to Munsford University. I quickly pulled out my phone to text Sarah, letting her know we are here and where we should be meeting her.

"She said to go down University Avenue and take the first right, then once you hit the stop sign, take a left and their dorm would be on the left hand side." I said out loud, making sure Stephen heard me. Sarah and Thomas were in a co-ed dorm and luckily ended up being in the same one, just different floors. A big difference from our freshman dorms. It was either all male or all female until you hit Junior year, then it turned into co-ed.

Once we've found a place to park, I called Sarah to let her know that we were outside. While pulling my bag out from the trunk, I see her running towards us, arms extended outward in order to give us the biggest hug imaginable.

"Kailie! I've missed you so much! How is everything?" she excitedly said while making her rounds hugging everyone else.

"Ah, same ol', same ol'. Nothing worth mentioning. I'm just here to see you all and to have one hell of a weekend!" I give her my biggest smile, which makes my eyes squint causing her to laugh.

"Well, if y'all want to make your way up to my room, that's where Thomas is with all the alcohol. We had to sneak it inside through our laundry baskets. So we will have to pre-tailgate here and then take a couple back packs out to my car to fill up the coolers in my trunk. I've totally thought this out." She says laughing.

We come to the end of the hall on the fifth floor, opening the door to see Thomas mixing up drinks in red solo cups, one for each of us. "Well look who finally decided to show up. I was expecting you all like two hours ago!" he says with a shit eatin' grin.

"Oh whatever Thomas. Now hand me that drink!" I half laugh while throwing my book bag on the bed. Sarah was lucky enough to get her own room since her assigned roommate decided to not attend this semester. Before we came, I told her I called dibs on the spare bed so I wouldn't get stuck on the floor.

Taking the drink from his hand, I take a sip and find myself instantly stress free. The taste of rum and grapefruit hits my tongue and I instantly know it's a Malibu Sun Breeze. One of my favorites.

This will be an amazing weekend. I smile to myself.

Once we all have had a few drinks, we pack a book bag full of items to take to the cooler that's in Sarah's vehicle. Before we arrived, she moved her car over to the parking lot where everyone tailgates. She staked out a good amount of room around her before everyone else started arriving to do the same. Sarah put up a canopy tent that had a folding table with four chairs, a small charcoal grill, and a game of corn hole set up. One cooler in her trunk was designated for the food we would be grilling out and all side items that needed to be chilled, while the other was strictly for drinks.
