My heart was yelling to give him a chance,
but my brain was screaming to save myself while I can.-
I looked out the window to see the trees passing by in a blur. Chloe had her head resting on my shoulder as she was sat in between Ryan and I in the backseat. My father was driving while my mom was typing something on her phone. An awkward silence wavered through the car but I chose not to speak cause I know if I did I would eventually explode.
We start to pull up to a fairly big house, with a huge fountain set by the doorway. In the driveway, there were Lamborghini's and Jaguars parked. I gulped, because I had the hots for that one car. We all got out of the car and started heading towards the door. I stopped at the fountain, examining it closely. My fingers tips brush against the cold water but i snap out of my daze as I feel an arm pulling me to the door. My mother had a look as if she was challenging me to act up but I quickly yanked my arm away from her touch. I glare at her before walking towards Chloe. I hold her hand while we walk into the breathtaking house.
I hold in a gasp as I look at the silver chandelier hanging over us. The floor tiling was marble which I absolutely adored, but then we walked past an elevator. I started to gawk at it but I quickly redeem myself. I mean we were fairly wealthy but this is just ridiculous!
My face immediately drops when I see the sight in front of me. Blake was standing only a couple feet away from me with his famous smirk set on his gorgeous face.
Oh you got to be kidding me!
"Well isn't it nice to see you again?" I glared at him but my mom gave me yet another look.
"Do you have a problem? Because, ever since you decided to come back you've been giving me nasty looks. Is there something in your eye?" I growled, as everyone's eyes are now set on me. Her eyes just widen, and I decide to walk away so I don't actually explode for real this time.
I walk over to a woman who looks like she's in her late 30's. She had bright green eyes and long black hair. She was wearing a white blouse that was tucked into a black pencil skirt.
"Hello. My name is Kylie and it's a pleasure to meet you." I smile and she returns the favor. She brings me into a hug, which I was definitely not expecting.
"Oh I know you honey! It's been so long since the last time I saw you. I think you were about 7 and you were just the cutest little thing!" She smiled brightly. I grinned and hugged her back.
"Oh and by the way my name is Maria Young but you can just call me Maria." She grinned before letting go and then led me over to the dining table. Everyone was already sat and there were only two seats left. She sat next to a man that looked about her age. He had dark brown hair that was almost black, and his eyes were a dark blue. He had a short stubble and was wearing a smooth black suit.
I then looked at the seat then at Blake who was sat next to it. I held back my groan and sat down. I turned to see that he was already looking at me. I raised my eyebrow and he chuckled.
"What was that little outburst about?" Now it was his turn to raise his eyebrow. Of course he looked hot doing that as well!
"We aren't close enough to be sharing our problems with each other yet." I grumbled harshly. He looked taken aback at first but quickly covered it up with his usual conceded facade.
