It was almost sunset, and the sky was a mix of baby blue and a faint red. The clouds were pinkish and the sun shone a bright orange. I sat on a bench in front of a convenience store, snacking on a hearty bowl of instant ramyun. I was breathing in the beautiful sunset when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I sighed and pulled it out, almost dropping it like the klutz I am.

I unlocked my phone to see that Jungkook texted me: "Sorry for the bus thing. I got u 2 free tickets to our concert... they're the best seats. On the house. I wanna see u there. Plus I get to give u a special signature ^^"

"Well I'm not gonna go, so sorry for wasting your tickets." I texted back. A got a reply within a second. This kid must be desperately bored.

"Pleeeease. I'm gonna be bored." it read.

"How could you say that when you're going to meet your fans? And no. If u look too friendly with me the members and fans will freak out since u're talking to a girl, like V did today."

"WHAT? Taehyung hyung? What did he do?"

"Why don't you ask him ;)"

"Noooo. Then he'll tease me for being friends with a girl"

"Knew it. Why r u always ashamed of being my friend T^T"

"Gtg now byeeeeeee"

"WAIT JUNGKOOK ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"

"We have to rehearse now ok byeeeee"

"U COOKIE CANNIBAL GET BACK HERE! WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THIS FRIENDSHIP. WAIT WHY ARE YOU ONLY TALKING TO ME NOW WHEN WE HAVEN'T TALKED FOR YEARS. JUNGKOOK WUT DO U WANT FROM ME. ARE U A SERIAL KILLER. JUNGKOOOOOK!" Under the message, a tiny font spelt out "Read." Geez, this jerk.

I stared at the sunset that was fading to dark. Tomorrow huh... tomorrow's Saturday, so no school or work... no I can't go. I shouldn't. It's also a fan signing, he'll see me if I go.

My phone buzzed violently in my hand, and I glanced at who was calling, thinking it was Jungkook. "Flower Girl," the caller ID spelled out. Once I had accepted the call, I heard screaming in the background.

"IT'S RINGING! RELAX!" I heard. My eardrums nearly exploded. "Hello?" the voice greeted, suddenly quiet and calm.

"Flower girl, more like loud girl. You nearly destroyed my ears."

"HYE SOOOOOOO!"

"STOP YELLING AT ME!" People passing by stared at me weirdly as I screamed into the phone. And that's when I started to walk home.

"Do you remember what day tomorrow is?" she beamed, changing the tone of her voice to sound cute and childish.

"Hye Jung. How could I possibly forget that tomorrow..." I checked my watch, which stated that today was Friday. "Is Saturday? The start of the weekend?"

"You forgot, didn't you?" Hye Jung responded, sounding annoyed.

"No, how could I forget that..." I desperately tried to remember. Remember what? I wasn't sure yet. "Ok you got me. Just what is it that I forgot?"

"Hello? My birthdaaaaay?"

I froze. Shhhhooot. I totally forgot that Hye Jung's birthday was this month. And I don't have a present, either. How could I forget?

"Ugh, I expected it. You're always so forgetful, Hye Soo."

"Sorryyyy. I'm reeeeally really sorry. Forgive me? I'll get you the best present ever."

"How are you even gonna find one this last minute?"

"Um, ah, erm," I panicked and kept grabbed all the storage boxes in my brain and ripping them apart, trying to find something that would work. Just then, I realized something that would give her the best experience ever... but I'd have to sacrifice my pride for it. Ahhhh, just go with it. You already forgot her birthday. And it's not like you're not allowed to enjoy it, right?

"Forget it, Hye Soo. It doesn't matter any-"

After all the hesitation, I blurted out, "I CAN GET YOU THE BEST TICKETS TO THE BTS FAN MEETING AND CONCERT EVENT!" My hand was immediately cupped around my mouth after realizing a crowd was staring at me with gleaming eyes.

"Yeah right, Hye Soo. You barely have money to be able to pay for the 'best tickets.'"

"No, really. I have them and I won't tell you how. I'll text you a pic of them if you want. But, you know, if you don't want to go-"

"Wait, you seriously have them?Really?!"

"Hye Jung! You're killing my eardrums again!"

"AHHHH THANK YOU! Wait, when? Where? How are we getting there? OMG WHAT AM I GONNA WEAR?"

"I'll text you the info. And wear a T-shirt and sweats for all I care. I'm hanging up!" I waited for the click to continue heading home. A deep, heavy sigh left me. Now what? I can't face him, he'll think I'm following him around or something. He might even tell mom and dad. Ugh I can't wait.
